A surprising treat. Very good selection of Mexican food. One had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce and the other had the chile rellano with red sauce, both were excellent, would recommend this if it is a convenient stop.

My Dad had carne asada said it was outstanding. Our entire group loved every dish. A generous assortment of seafood dish as well. The food was served quickly despite it being a Friday night. I would recommend.

Overnighting at a local motel, wanted more than just Denny's or other fast food. Los Pinos is not flashy, but the food is solid and plentiful. The beer is cold, and the food hot. They serve chips and salsa when you are seated. I ordered the Tacos Al Carbon off of what appears to be an extensive menu. The menu... More

Food at this restaurant is a travelers delight. Food is Sooooo good; we will go out of our way to stop here on future trips to and from LA. Nothing fancy just wonderful food at an extreme nice price. A must stop!!!

the food was very tasty and great menu and choices of drinks and libations for the weary traveler. Decor was also comfortable and added to the Authentic Mexican restaurant experience.

We had dinner here tonight based on reading previous reviews and our dinner was great! I enjoyed this dinner more than dinners I've had in restaurants in the Coachella Valley. You just can't beat authentic Mexican food. I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning next year.

On the way down hiway 5 I stopped at the motel 6. For dinner I wanted soup to go. I asked at Los Pinos. They only had 1 kind of soup, a seafood soup, that was expensive. So I went somewhere else (Dennys)

Wide selection of Mexican dishes, served hot and with a smile. Not exactly "authentic" but far from Americanized, chain Mexican. On weekends, Los Pinos is packed, but the staff works extra hard, and food is still served promptly. Good value for money too.

Ate here 2 nights, Food is honestly good. Was charged for beans I never got. Told I got them(placed in front of another customer). Following night, ate here again, since food is fresh, well prepared and reasonable. Again asked for cream for coffe this time, and never arrived. Still would come again--overall little things aren't good, BUT, no so bad... More

Excellent little Mexican place within walking distance to Holiday Inn Express. Go there, be happy you don't have to eat at some crappy chain diner.
