Great food for less money

For 25 $ my wife and I got really full. We wonted to try desert, but we where to full after our meal. Service could be better.

We have enjoyed Pollo Inka in nearby Redondo Beach many times. This was first time at Lawndale. It was a letdown. Tables were crowded together. No privacy. Ketchup was brown instead of red. When we pointed this out to waiter, he brought us two more bottles. Also brown. He had no explanation but agreed color was off. Jalea had too... More

We had never eaten at a Peruvian restaurant before. The food was good, not spicy at all, which fit my taste-buds. I could have done without the rice - just added more starch to the meal. We had good service, and the location was not far from where we were staying.

Great food, excellent service and very good price! Try their chicken with a beer from Peru, you will like it for sure!! Will be going back every other week, for certain.

We don't care how far it is from our hotel, every time we're in LA, this is a must do. Their food is fantastic, we took a Guatemalan friend, and she raved about their plantains. We ended up getting an extra order to go each time we went. My personal favorite is the vainitas saltado, but my husband prefers the... More

I've had better Peruvian elsewhere. Had the white-meat chicken with rice and salad. It tasted very bland, no flavor whatsoever. I've been here before and I should just had the lomo saltao or pollo saltao because it at least has some flavor in it. You should still go and try for yourself, but there's better options elsewhere.

The food was like grandmothers kitchen food...great, and one could not get enough. Price is excellent, and I would certainly recommend it to anybody. Had the house speciality, 1/2 a chicken. The prep time was quite fast also. Magnificent!!!

This restaurant was close to our hotel and sounded intriguing. It was very busy and noisy, not our favorite kind of place, but the food and service more than made up for those aspects. We enjoyed our different Tallarin Saltados very much, and portions were exceedingly generous. Worth a try!

Boy was this place hopping Sunday night! For $20 we had enough to feed 5 adults! They really have their formula down. Great selection of sides and of course incredibly good Peruvian style chicken, tasty beyond almost any other preparation. You can't make this at home more I expensively!
