Had lunch here, tried the Bento Box and I sure wasn't impressed. The spicy roll was complete mushy, the chicken was like a bad version of KFC, with a poor sauce. Amici at the next exit is an excellent place for Japanese, I strongly suggest to go there instead, I know I will!

Great restaurant! I was alone both nights and sat at the sushi bar. Efficient and friendly service, great Japanese draft beer served ice-cold and excellent sushi. Nothing like what we get in Eastern Canada: here you have lots of fish and not so much rice. Where I'm from, you get a sliver of fish on a huge piece of rice,... More

We went for lunch it was very busy. Our lunch orders and drink orders were taken very quickly. We decided to have a spider roll and my friend decided to have a special roll made up with her likes and they were more than happy to make it. Very nice presentations of both rolls and yes they were very good.

Our management team has lunch here once or twice a month. The food is excellent, the prices are modest, the service is very good. The owners are always working making sure customers get good food service, food. Try the bento boxes, chicken or beef teriyaki or sushi rolls. Get there early for lunch, the restaurant is always crowded. I have... More

Every time I visit the Manteca / Lathrop area, I get to try something new on the menu at Mikasa. It's usually an interesting-looking roll we see at another table. We also had a large birthday celebration here and the food just kept coming! The service is good and friendly.

Mikasa has two solid assets: Good food and a fun, energetic aptmosphere. Good offering of standard sushi items, fish was fresh and cost was very reasonable.

The first thing you need to know is that their rolls are huge! We aren't used to that so we ordered three which was about one and a half times more than we needed. They were so good! Most of the rolls are not your standard fare but have interesting ingredients such as asparagus and cream cheese. The service was... More

The food here is off the chain, super good! You will not be disappointed. Try the speciality rolls! They have specialty drinks too and the services is pretty good. For desert make sure to get their cream filled rice balls, they are super nice, too.

I always have tempura and light it coated lightly and not greasy. I was disappointed, but want to come back and try something new. I loved the atmosphere of friendly people. I also liked our waitress. She is an older lady with lots of personality. We celebrated my daughters birthday and we brought cheese cake and the waitress cut is... More

This was a very busy place at 7 on a Monday. It is very popular with the locals and you could probably expect a wait on other nights. Mikasa offers a wide selection of sushi and other Japanese specialties and has a large sushi bar. It has a very nice selection of fresh fish. Mikasa is not a romantic place... More
