We had dinner at Restaurant Picco for my girlfriends birthday while in town from Texas and could not have been more impressed. The food and service were both amazing. We had the avocado bruschetta (pure, simple and delicious), the crispy ricotta stuffed squash blooms (a very tasty treat and a great twist and squash), the fresh vegetable risotto (freshly made... Picco's has the best pizza in the Larkspur/Carte Madera area. Wood fired. Excellent appetizers and soft serve ice cream for desert. Smaller sitting area so plan for a wait during peak hours. Valet parking available.

Picco is a local treat for us. Always delicious and varied menu based in seasonal organic ingredients. Amazing risottos. Addictive burger sliders. Save room for the milkshake dessert. They emphasize small plate sharing so it' s fun to go there with 4 so you can enjoy tasting more dishes. Would recommend advance planning by making reservations as Picco is very... More

great pizza just on the roadside in the middle of Larkspur. Great tables outside. Nice salad and mixed meat starters! Thoroughly recommended!

Seated promptly without a reservation. Had some difficulty making a menu selection, and needed waitress help in identifying some of the unknown items. Then ordered drinks and entrees. Waited a while for drinks, bread, etc. Waitress then brought wife's wine, not my beer. No bread. Watched bartender washing glasses, but no beer on the service counter. Wanting to toast, finally... Been to Picco several times and it never disappoints. My friend was dying to have the killer fried chicken again...but that's a Wed night special. She was equally happy with the halibut she had this time. I had a wonderful pasta dish with morel mushrooms. Finished with beignets and miniature milkshakes....delish!! Our waiter was great...very patient coming to our table... More

Lovely restaurant in charming downtown Larkspur. Small plates to share are delicious - I have never ordered an entree and have always left full and smiling. Very crowded. If you can get a table in the back room, it's quieter. Reservations are a must.

The food at Picoo is OUTSTANDING. Every entree, appetizer and salad we ordered was delicious, and it's one restaurant that I would bring special friends, or family. Best to go on a weekday, when it's less crowded, because the restaurant gets VERY noisy. I'm hoping they eventually do some soundproofing or something to bring down the noise.

This is a good restaurant, but I think there are better options in the area which do as well for a good bit less money. It may be that I was a bit put off by a hostess who estimated a 45 minute wait that morphed into well over 90 minutes, while at least one party who came in later... More
