I'm done with stuck up bartenders and service. Picco food is still awesome but won't go back until the service gets off their high horse.

I was in Larkspur visiting a friend and in five days that I was there we went to this restaurant two times for dinner...I truly enjoyed this place. The Risotto was excellent they make it fresh every 30 minutes ( I hope the time is correct) anyway the food is excellent. You do have to make a reservation. Sorry I...

I was staying here in town and walked in to this restaurant for lunch. The first thing I noticed was the beer selection, wow, there is some hard to find stuff ( outside of this area ) on the menu, and then I was presented with Pliny the Elder! OK, so far so good. The pizza was probably 4 out...

Stopped in for some pizza and ice cream. The pizza was delicious! All ingredients were advertised as fresh, and you could taste it! I would highly recommend making the trip to this little restaurant for the excellent food. The ice cream is made fresh every day!
As there were quite a large number of us we were given a small private room which worked well. The cocktail selection was good - quite a lot of them got consumed in the early part of the evening - and the wine list had a very good selection. Try the Robert Sinskey Pinot Blanc if you get a chance....

I have been to Picco many Times and this time it did not live up to its reputation.
It was the combination of the food on the plate that to me just did not belong there. Its seemed like they let the cook put some dishes together instead of the Executive Chef.
This is the plate that just did not...

A great, little spot with wonderful offerings "to share" on the summer balcony along the street, cozy rainy evneings or just before a movie. Start with your own "Dungeness Salad & Green Goddess Dressing". "Roasted Brussels Sprouts" with capers are marvelous. "Grilled Lamb Chops" are tender but tiny (don't even think about sharing) and add the "french fires w/Aioli sauce"....

Went back this January after a few visits in summer 2011, and it's still just as good... Wonderful food, wonderful service... HIghlights were the tuna tartare on sticky rice cake, incredible smoked sturgeon starter, the crab fettucine, and the amazingly simple and addictive ice cream with sea salt and olive oil... Attentive yet relaxed service and great atmosphere, though it...

Picco is definitely worth the effort (reservation essential), but be forewarned it is small, crowded, and noisy, with a boisterous bar scene that dominates the restaurant because of its size. That said, the food was fresh, nicely presented, and not unreasonably priced. Picco advertises its dishes “for sharing,” and that’s the way to go. We started with tuna tartare, six...

We arrived at 6pm and were seated straight away. The server was very attentive and our drinks and food arrived quickly. We chose a variety of dishes all of which were delicious, especially the squash risotto. Only negative was that as the restaurant filled up it became very noisy and it was difficult to have a conversation. Not a place...
