Came here on a recommendation from the hotel. Wow!! What this place lacks in atmosphere it more than makes up for with the food. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, my wife had the sourdough burger. WRANING! The food here is HUGE! Their plates are enough for two, easily. My wife's burger was very good... read more

until they fired Pam. She was great and so kind to the customers. She was devastated and we never came back and never will. The owner is very smarmy. Oh well, lots of other great places.

if you want decent food the only thing this place has going for it is the quantity, take that away and you have nothing. the parent company I believe is called PIGGIES, that tells you a lot about this place. the food on most occasions is really greasy as it has been noted at piggies. so I guess if you... This place under the newest owners is the worse business in lakewood. Ever sence they bought, employees from the day they opened were forced to quit over labor conditions. Myself have eaten there every day from opening day, became friends with waitresses, so, when it came time to get what was due them I helped them with lawyer associations. While... More

Brings back memories of places I'd been to in my younger days. Went for breakfast on a Saturday and had to wait about 15 mins to be seated. Ordered a small orange juice (ha! If you consider a 16 oz glass small). One sip and Ah, that's the real thing! A real treat in today's processed food world. 3 eggs... More

Ordered chicken breast (breaded; very thick; $13.99)with gravy and it was sub par. Came with 3 eggs and oatmeal. Good size meal but lacked any flavor. Coffee sucked (commerical; $2.35). Service was basic ... You had to grab their attention for everything (water, butter, hot sauce). Had the feel of a Denny's. They make their own bread and cut slices... More

The family and I very much enjoy eating here. They have large portion of the best tasting food, the staff is always very friendly. Our food arrives hot and fresh off the grill. They make fantastic bread that is baked daily. We've never had a bad experience here. One of Lakewood's great local eatery's.

We came here a few times for breakfast and never asked for 2 breakfasts. We never finished either. It is one of the last fine diners with this level of quality and quantity. The LA marathon and the chicken fried steak are delicious. Be ready to wait in line for breakfast. Parking on the street is easier and less stressful... More
