This is a very busy place but once you get seated, the servers are very polite and and efficient. The steaks are very good and their wild mushroom sauce is delicious. They have great side dishes and the servings are generous.

The food is good , but some times you have to wait for it to come and its not real warm. The staff is friendly, the patio area has a good view and is very open.

Our family of 4 went here to celebrate an important family milestone. When we walked in, the places was filled with people from end to end...there was NO room. Most places would buckle under the pressure and appear rude to guests. However, the front desk staff here was pleasant in informing us of our 45 minute wait. They offered to... More

Went to Outback in Lakewood this weekend. Had a good, comforting meal of prime rib. Service was outstanding.

Food is not that great. I guess it's like a sizzler.

As far as chain restaurants go, Outback has always been pretty top-notch in my book. This location is in a very busy spot known as Restaurant Row in Lakewood. So be prepared to park far away during peak evening hours. I think the busier times are not easy on the wait-staff, but you'll still get nice service. They are very... More

Stopped by here on the way back from a Dave Ramsey conference at the Long Beach Convention center. I think Outback must use the same architectural plans for all their places. It saves money, right? Seen one, you've seen them all. Although I love the Bloomin' Onion, that is supposed to serve 6 and there were only 3 of us... More

We have been going to this Outback for several years and it is one of the best-managed chain locations we have been to! Always consistently great food; no guess work. The teriyaki ribeye is as good as it gets. The recent changes to the menu are refreshing and tasty; the seared ahi, bleu cheese pecan chopped salad and fresh grean... More

The steak doesn't come out bubbling with butter like at Ruth's Cris (which I admit I love), but it isn't $45 bucks either. There is a reason why this place is always full even in the recession. Anyone who's eaten there knows they can count on a very good steak at a reasonable price. What else needs to be said?... More
