We have been disappointed here a few times but decided to give it a chance again. Park Place is in a great location by the lake with white tablecloths on the tables (though the tables are very close together – ask for a booth). The service is fine. The food this time was pretty bad. We both ordered Fettuccini Alfredo-... More

I have been going to this restaurant for a few years. It has always been a place to go for special occasions with our extended family. Years ago it was a great place to go, but over time we have realized that the menu doesn't change, which can turn off locals who have limited eating options in a small town.... More

On warm sunny days....try the Sunday Brunch in the outdoor dining area. Watch the boats go by on their way to the ramp. Servers are friendly, knowledgable, and can often make substitutions on the menu to suit your individual tastes! Great place.

Good food, service a little slow but that's cause they are usually packed. Atmosphere is nice but acoustics are bad making it hard to hear when talking to others you might be dining with. Love the pizzas.

Park Place has an excellent location by the neatly kept Library Park by Clear Lake in Lakeport. While the menu is limited, the chef will cook to order. Like any good pasta/italian menu, it's paired with a great wine selection. It can get busy, so call ahead for lunch (almost everyday!) or for dinner on a holiday or event day.

We both ordered the pork entree that was on special at $ 18.00 It came with mashed potatoes and a vegetable medley of green beans, swiss chard and butter but squash. The pork loin was tasty but I felt a bit under cooked because parts of it were pink which concerned me. The potatoes were good , but the vegetables... More

The Mediterranean Salad was fantastic. The help was very helpful but a bit overwhelmed. They make their own pasta. Try it you'll like it.

I have been going to Park Place for years. It is locally owned and operated with much of the same staff since the beginning! That says a lot...about the restaurant and its staff. They are all so friendly and so good at what they do in a timely manner! I go there often and will continue to do so. By... More

Park Place is an old friend. I have never had a bad meal there. I love the pasta dishes. The salads are great too. Gorgonzola bread is a must! It is cheesy yummy goodness. Lunch time can be busy, a reservation is suggested if you are going at the noon hour during the week. They have a daily lunch special... More

LETTER TO "PKLUTTRULL"

In response to your review on Saturday night, I'm a bit confused with your recollection of the night. I was your server and I greeted your table immediately, got you a sprite and coke and promptly took your order. Fresh baked bread was brought to your table.( we only bake a few loaves at a time to ensure quality) When your dinner was ready my coworker brought it to your table because I was assisting other patrons. As soon as I finished putting in the order I returned to your table and asked if everything was okay, which you replied yes. I offered to fill your sodas which were half full and returned them to your table. I returned again during your meal to check on your dinners and was never told about the concern over the pork being a bit pink. If you had told me I would have let you know that we do brine our pork, which retains something color, and cook to temperature. However, if you still have concerns, I would've been more than happy to return your dinner to the chef so he could have cooked the pork longer or would have offered you another meal if you wanted that instead. When you are finished with your meals I returned again to clean the plates and asked if you'd like any dessert. You said no. While I was printing your check the chef had asked me if you enjoyed your meal. So when I dropped off the check I specifically asked how the food was. Again, there was no mention of any problems so I thanked you , you paid your bill and left. As somebody who has several food allergies, specific preferences and limited food choices because of my diet, I do not mind at all fixing any dish or, accomodating it to your liking. As a waitress I strive to do my best to provide excellent service. I am the link between your food and the kitchen so without communication I cannot do my job effectively. So I'm asking if you can come back and let us make it right this time. Our goal is to make great food and have our customers enjoy their dining entire experience.if you felt differently we want to fix that and make sure your questions and concerns are addressed so we can make it right. I apologize for any miscommunications on my part. parkplace is a great restaurant that's been in business for over 28 years. I am proud to work there. Please accept my apologie and come back and give us another chance.
