It appears like it would be quite rowdy and noisy in the evenings but we stopped at 5 pm on a weeknight. Although there were a few people having a drink at the bar we were the only diners. They have mostly large tables set up so it seems they may get large groups in. The waitress was very pleasant... More

Great fun at this place. The owner Dave is a cheerful guy. The bartender Nancy is all smiles. There is a great menu including the largest steak I have ever seen. Full bar, pool, tv's for football. Comfortable setting. Don't forget to check out their store. Lots of fishing supplies, shirts and shorts. This is now one of my favorite... More

We stopped here on a road trip because we were hungry and it was open. The atmosphere - pool tables, really loud juke box music - were not what i wanted but again, we were hungry. I ordered a grilled chicken salad but I was served a sandwich. Then the hostess also gave me a plate of lettuce and suggested... More

We are a family of 4 and this place definitly seems like it caters more to the Bar crowd. I don't want to be too harsh because there just aren't that many options around, and after all was said & done the food was OK. My wife almost turned around an walked out when we first got there, but after... More

Pizza came out burned with american instead of motzerella cheese as they ran out and only told that to the kid side of the table. Fried scallops and burger was good though

The name of the restaurant should have tipped us off - this place is purely a drinking establishment - more BAR than grill. The food was good, BBQ/bar food, but not really a family-friendly atmosphere (even though there are four loitering tweens playing pool and talking to patrons mid-bite). It seems like a fun place when the sun goes down,... More

This is a bar for locals as well as tourists. Basic food but especially hamburgers...try the Special at about $8 --two patties, fries, all the works. The staff are friendly and informal which pretty well describes the place. It is the best place for buying fishing gear on the north end of Lake Shasta.

We ate here when staying across the street at a hotel. We popped in for an early dinner and both had a tasty blue cheese & bacon burger. The fries were nice and crisp and the bacon perfectly cooked. We sat at the bar and the bartender was quite friendly and chatty, made a very pleasant road trip memory. We'll... More

Whether we are staying in the area or driving through, we always stop by here. They have great food ~a casual, fun atmosphere bar/restaurant~there is even a tackle shop. We like their hamburgers and sandwiches and got to stop in for breakfast one morning, which was really good. When we stay in the area during the summer and are on... More
