You are traveling from California to Washington and back on I-5 and you think if you eat another McDonald's quarter pounder with cheese you will shrivel up and die. This is the place for you. It's the kind of little cafe you dream of finding with delicious home-cooked food, reasonable prices, a welcoming owner and staff, and no pretensions whatsoever.... More

On our way up to Alaska we forgot to stop at Redding and ended up fueling up at the shell. They recommend us to this place. I must say it's the cutest little restaurant. There is sitting in the court yard outside or inside where you can enjoy the art work. We ordered a pizza half peperoni and half meat... More

The food was good, and a good value, though the price of Pizza was a bit expensive but it was tasty. Service was friendly but they were a little understaffed. The owner is very sweet and always friendly.

This was a very nice cozy place for us to stop in on our way back to Oregon. My barbecued pulled pork sandwich was excellent, my kids enjoyed the personal pizzas and the panini's were excellent as well. Agree with the other post that the bathroom was clean, nice service, small inside with more outside seating in back. Not fancy,... More

The food is excellant! As far as I have experienced, the whole menu is top of the line. As far as the service is concerned, Cheryl, the owner, gives the whole experience a very positive touch of class. Her warmth and friendliness far exceeds anything one is able to find in today's fast food atmosphere. ]I have lived in the... More

We vacation yearly at Lake Shasta and on our last night there we decided to eat at a local restaurant which served, among other items, pizza. It was our first time there and we will be returning. There were three of us and we ordered the extra large expecting a routine, small town pizza. It was huge and we could... More

Had a nice dinner here of pizza and pasta while visiting Lake Shasta. There aren't too many dinner choices around this area, so Allyson's was a good option.

The place is small and unique decor. Great atmosphere and even better service. We sat by the fireplace and were treated to her homemade pizza and grilled burger. The potato salad was yummy (no fries here) or any fried foods : ) The GIANT Cookie and ice cream " best cookie ever" plenty for two. She made us feel right... More

We stopped into Allyson's on our way home from California road trip. It's a small unassuming place off of I5 at Lakehead ( near Shasta). The smell on entering was mouthwatering and the food was simply wonderful. No deep fryer here.. but great pulled pork sandwiches. .. and pizza.. fresh made pizza. Lots of people doing pick up for their... More
