Eveny once in a while you stop when travelling, seeking only a sandwich and coffee and wind up coming away with far more than that. You arrive a stranger and leave having made new friends, you arrive hungry and leave well satisfied. Pollard Flats Food and Fuel is one of those places. Staff was wonderful and food was delicious. So glad we found this place. Had both breakfast and dinner last trip. This is not fine dining - this is road trip diner food but among the best. Will definitely be back.

Great food always. Unique decorations and lots to look at. Use the bathroom when available because often there is a line. Servers always pleasant. Also there is s little store with a few good supply's (Gas too) Love this place

Stayed in Lakehead to experience Lake Shasta and went north for breakfast,towards Mount Shasta, thanks to Jim at the Lakehead Lodge. The breakfast and coffee were great. I had biscuits and gravy with 2 over medium eggs on top. Oh yeah !! The bathroom was a trip ! You gotta be here to understand.

Do not be fooled by the appearance of this little roadside eatery. We almost drove on at first look, but were hungry and could not have been more surprised or pleased.
