Send It Back and Get No Better

Hmmm. While I absolutely hate to leave any negative comments, this was not the best experience. We had a fairly large party: 8, with two children and a teen. Our orders were pretty straight forward, but we did have two exception requests. Leave off blue cheese and put caviar on the side. The blue... read more

Came here for the first time for a late lunch the other day with my husband and we both liked the look and atmosphere of this place but the food did not stand up to the rest of the restaurant. We both had the burger, frie and beer combo- i got pone beer and it was horrible so they switched... More

I've been to Bru once before for brunch and it was pretty good, so I tried to plan a Corporate event since we had some out-of-towners coming in and I wanted to allow them to try a place they couldn't have back home. Here's what happened. Called Bru on Monday to make our large party reservation for next month. The... More

Full disclosure - we did not enjoy any of the beer selections that the restaurant has available. They get an A for effort on the wide variety and tremendous selection available to patrons. If your interest is enjoying a wide variety of beer selections, then you will probably find the experience at least worth a try. The lack of staff... More

I don't know why, but when trying a new place, I always tend toward the BURGER. I had the Bru Burger, with the Aoli. We made our reservation thru Open Table for Saturday, and at noon, the restaurant was not crowded, we must have been early! Bru has an extensive selection of wines and craft beers, and although we did... More

Suffered through the worst meal I have ever had at Bru last night. My dinner guest and I both ordered the Mahi Mahi special and it was terrible. My fork bounced off the rubbery fish block and I had to resort to using my knife to force the fish into crumbled dried chunks. I pushed the chunks around into the... More

Joined by 6 family members for a birthday celebration. The servers were fun and when asked their opinion about menu items, honest answers were given. My "hot" food order arrived ice cold. It must have been done first and the server waited until other plates were ready before bringing it out from the kitchen. I asked for hot French fries,... More

The drinks here are awesome, but the food is hit and miss. Burgers were good, salad was not. Service was just ok.

This is our new go to for dinner when we eat out. We used to go to Sapphire in Laguna or nirvana Grill. Then we stopped in here once to see what it was all about. The food is great the service has always been good-great and the drinks are good as well. If you like prime rib this is... More
