Pricey fare but GREAT Happy Hour prices

I'm fairly sure I would not come here for a regular dinner because the prices are high. Are the prices fair? If you want a visual culinary experience, then yes. If you want outstanding food at reasonable prices, then no. My husband, my 14-year old daughter and I came here for a late lunch at 3... read more

Went alone. Told 20 minutes for a table but able to sit in the bar and eat. Big tables in the bar that accommodate many people at a time. Service was very good. Large selection of beers and wine. I liked the market pricing of the wine with a $10 corkage fee. This seemed like a good value if with... More

The food is pretty decent, especially for the Lake Forest area. I used to go eat or have drinks here at least 3 times a month. The issues I have is with the customer service. The owner really needs to make sure he is hiring better staff. There are some great people there, but it's not consistent. Customer service is... More

This was my first time dining at Bru Grill & Market and I was pleasantly surprised. There were 8 of us there for a year end celebration dinner for the executive team. We requested the La Crema Pinot Noir but that was sold out and so was the Chardonnay so I'm not sure what wine we ended up with but... More

We spent a fabulous evening with good friends here recently. We sat at a quiet booth in the back and Jamie took very good care of us with just the right balance of leaving us alone and encouraging us to stop talking long enough to order. The food was good, not great but we lived our time here.

After 3 years of being pretty regular customers for Sunday brunch and NFL football, I can't go back. At least two parties that had arrived early to make sure they got a good spot for their game got quite a shock at halftime. The owner changed their game to another game to accommodate a couple of his friends. Then he... More

My friends and I had lunch at Bru Grill & Market. We each ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Since one of my friends is gluten free, the restaurant was able to exchange her bun with a flatbread. We enjoyed our meals. The restaurant has a nice bar area where you can watch TV. The services was great and the prices... More

Wife and I were looking for something in the vague direction of "Fine Dining" for a rare date night without the kids. We only had a couple of hours and wanted a nicer, quieter meal than your typical chain restaurant. Yelp found us Bru, the menu looked interesting, and making a reservation on OpenTable was easy the day before. We... More

My wife and I have eaten here twice and have really enjoyed the restaurant. We do save this for special occasions as it is a bit on the pricy side. This being said we feel the food and service are great and their willingness to let you sample beers is outstanding!
