Great service, excellent barbecue. Fun, family, friendly atmosphere. Great for large parties on patio.

We have been to Lucille's on many occasions, this time was for my birthday. Their cornbread is some of the best I have every had. The ribs, chicken and Tri-tip sandwiches are amazing. The BBQ sauce is mouth watering. The service is always good.
The beef ribs were great, and on Saturday nights, the live band plays some incredible rock and blues

Lucille's is fine, in a pinch, but there is better. If you do eat there got to go with the beef ribs. Try Bad to the Bone in San Juan Capistrano instead or Coop's in San Diego for excellent.
This isnt the best ever, but it is good. When you are in the mood for BBQ and you are in the neighborhood, make a stop. Don't go during the rush hour because you can be waiting a while. Even if you must wait the food is worth it. A nice staff and decent surroundings.
