Great atmosphere. My mother's and my margarita was a killer. We felt we were on cloud nine. It was a while since I had a killer margarita!!! Dinner was very good plenty of entrées to chose from.

My wife and I took a day trip recently to Lake Arrowhead and were looking for a spot for lunch. There are many choices in the village but we wanted Mexican food so we went to El Papagayos. It was our first visit and will not be our last. The atmosphere was festive and the service was excellent. We both... More

Decent food, strong drinks, and good wait staff. And enjoyable evening on the lake. Recommend to those who love Tequila!

What a great find in this sweet little mountain town. The food is delicious, the service is good and it is at the right price point. They recommended the steak tacos and they were terrific. I would recommend a margarita to wash down the food. If you want a casual, family friendly, fun atmosphere you won't be disappointed.

This is a restaurant stuck in the past. The servers were friendly. I ordered two tacos a la carte as I was wary about the beans and rice. The tortillas were so greasy, I ate the taco filling (one shredded beef and one carnets). We asked for hotter salsa, the waitress brought another bowl with chopped up jalapeños on top!... More

Came for lunch on Saturday with a party of 5. It took about 20 minutes for us to be seated. They ask for a credit card or ID to get a pager. Chips and salsa are subpar. While not authentic, the food was pretty decent. Service was slow and we had to keep asking for refills on drinks.

Cory is the awesome server who will make the small space work. Mexican pizza is the best. So is the Cadillac kick you in the a*^ Margarita.

We live in San Diego where good Mexican food is a dime a dozen. This place is not "authentic" but it is still good. We love the bar and the bartender. A friendly "local" feel! Great Margaritas!

Our experience was excellent. Brittany was a very nice waitress. Our kids loved the fajitas and quesadillas. Good beer on tap as well!
