We live in San Diego where good Mexican food is a dime a dozen. This place is not "authentic" but it is still good. We love the bar and the bartender. A friendly "local" feel! Great Margaritas!

Our experience was excellent. Brittany was a very nice waitress. Our kids loved the fajitas and quesadillas. Good beer on tap as well!

Lively restaurant with very good Mexican food.We like to eat at the bar and the bartenders were very good and attentive. Happy hour starts at 3:00, but the chips and the fantastic home made (daily) salsa are free all the time with no end to refills.

Salsa is tasty. We went in on a Monday night had a little wait (they said 15 mins wait, and that's what it was) the service was fantastic! we ordered nachos supreme, a Gordo burrito and pescado fresca. Not a fan of their food, burrito was over seasoned with black pepper and the chips for the nachos were stale tasting.... More

The food here is great, but it is Americanized mexican, not authentic. They have many levels of margaritas, and they are incredible! I prefer the Beyond Killer. The 50/50 floutas plate is a great dish to split between two people, and the tacos on the patio let you grab a quick bit while overlooking one of the most beautiful lakes... More

Good food and friendly people. A little overpriced in my opinion, but this is just my opinion. Other than that it is a great place to go with the family or the significant other.

I have walked past this restaurant dozens of times, I suppose thinking that it was a tourist place and would be over-priced. My family and I ate here on a Thursday night and were pleasantly surprised to have a very enjoyable meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. We were told the wait time would be 20 minutes (on a... More

We saw a three o'clock game here and enjoyed the half price appetizer menu (3-6pm). The servings were huge (Mexican Pizza and regular nachos) and the Albondigas soup from the main menu was another large portion and delicious. The Pizza was an early dinner and there was enough for another fabulous meal the next day. The food was significantly better... More

We went to Papagayos at the recommendation of a friend that grew up in Lake Arrowhead. Perhaps because we are from Tucson, we have high standards for Mexican food. This food was simply awful. I ordered a tamale and chile relleno. My husband ordered a bean burrito. My plate came and was a huge plate of beans, cheese and grease.... More
