The prices are slightly more than other take out Mexican, but you're paying for quality and freshness. My staple meal is a Shrimp taco, Fish Enchilada Verde, and the refried pinto beans only with no rice (see pic). It's fresh, filling, and very tasty. Unless I want a nap I usually bring some back, and all that was under $13... More

Mexican food is one of my favorite things. But I have to say that Baja fish tacos is not one of my favorites. The food is good but not great. $11 for a burrito I think it's overpriced..you want sour cream guacamole or chips that's gonna cost you extra! They are trying to be like Baja Fresh but they just... Very good fresh fish tacos. Prices are reasonable and you get your food really fast. Very similair menu to Wahoo's. You get your food before you even get your self serve drink. Very busy...indoor dining with a few outdoor tables.

Got the big salad, tasty with fresh avocado and ranch dressing. Also ordered the beans and cheese and got a free sample of the chips and salsa. Tasty salsa but I think the beans may have had pork in them, did not want to find out after I had already eaten them but know to ask next time. Otherwise good... More

Blackened fish, rice and beans with guacamole with torts were very good. The salsa bar had excellent salsas and the pickled onions made my head sweat...so they were perfect. In town for 4 days so will be back before I leave.

The line is out the door from 12 to 1 but if you get there at 11:40 you'll get right in. No matter what time you get there, your foo will hit the table by the time you fill your drink and sit down. It's great food and worth a once a week trip.

I worked in Santa Ana and started going to Baja Fish for lunch. I have since retired and moved out of state. I come back to visit family in Mission Viejo and visit the BFT location in Lake Forest. The fish tacos are the same as when I first tried them in 1999, as is the rice and black beans.... More

The menu is very simple, fish, chicken or carne asada. I personally come in for the fish taco combo-includes rice and black beans. Their salsa bar is really good. And sometimes they have a beer special, buy one, get one free.

Love the food here, and they're always friendly. The beans and rice remind me of my grandma's cooking!

I use to live in Laguna Hills and Baja Fish was and still is one of my family's favorites. They have excellent food with their Ensenada Style Fish Tacos being the best. Their Salsas in their Salsa Bar are fantastic. The place is always clean with great service. I wish they had one in San Juan Capistrano.
