We were looking for something "simple" for dinner one night when staying near SNA and I looked on Tripadvisor and found Polly's Pies. After reading the reviews we decided to give it a try, and are glad we did. Their dinner crowd seemed to be a bit "older", so we were some of the "youngsters" in the restaurant the evening... More

Just imagine a cinnamon roll the size of a dinner plate, eggs fresh from the farm and the best slice of pie you can get unless you make it yourself. That's Polly's. Go early for breakfast or late for dinner, unless you want to wait. The Senior Citizens who live nearby are regulars and I wouldn't mess with them on... More

When I visit my mother I tend to enjoy a meal at PP. Nothing fancy but this local diner has always offered excellent service. The majority of this locations clientele are seniors (65-100) and are open to accommodating their special dietary needs. I have had a variety of items from their breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and have been impressed... More

We had not been to Polly's in many years and the decor was still exactly the same as prior visits but now very dirty. We had an excellent piece of berry pie but we will not be going back.

This Polly's really is like your Mom's kitchen...Flowered wallpaper, stuff everywhere and the smell of fresh baked bread. The decor is a bit (a lot) stale. Polly's food is old fashioned comfort food. My hubby can't get enough of the "old fashioned chicken salad" sandwich. Loaded with walnuts and real chicken...on a toasted raisin bread. The other day I tried... More

I had the chicken fried steak, we also had the fried fish and BLT. The food was good, no comlaints. The service was excellent. The decor was ok. Take into consideration that mostly retired folks eat here. I was pleasantly suprised, with the food and service. I even thanked the manager for a great waitress!

What a fun place! When you first walk in, you see all the breads and bakery items, including their special jumbo sized cinnamon rolls, and the rest of this gift shop area. The day we were there they also had some yummy pineapple bread. As you go further into the restaurant, it is old country cafe style with your basic... More

Polly's is right on Moulton Parkway in a nice little center, halfway between Lake Forest and El Toro Rd. If you didn't know it was there you'd miss it. The food is great--mostly Southern-style and their pies are outstanding and inexpensive.

I love Polly's. My husband and I went in for a simple piece of pie and coffee after church one Sunday morning. Our server was very hospitable, I wish I could remember her name. She was an older (not OLD though) blonde woman, a little taller. And she gave us some cinnamon rolls to go for free. My husband and... More

I love to go to this place and spell the chicken and pies cooking. The chicken salad sandwich on toasted fresh raisin bread makes my mouth water just thinking about it,, and this is the only place I know where I can get Grandma's apricot pie.
