The food is just amazing, they have such a mix of flavors combined in each dish that makes you fantasy with your meal before it gets to your table. The presentation is very artistic. To bad they don't open for dinner....... The service is great, fast and friendly. A pure joy to recommend this place.

Something new to try but not a place I would come back to. Came here for my sister's bday breakfast with the family and we thought we would try something new. Well I'll only review 3 dishes. I had the French toast brûlée and it was really good. It's sweet for those of you who have never had brûlée. My... More

This is an excellent and unique dining experience. Breakfast is what they do. No lunch. No dinner, although the hours of operation extend into early afternoon. And they do a great job. They take traditional American breakfast fare and give it a tasty Vietnamese twist. It sounds strange but it isn't. Example: they serve a crispy oatmeal pancake topped with... More

I've never had Vietnamese for breakfast, but now I'm going to have to reconsider after our visit to Break of Dawn. First off, how can you beat Vietnamese coffee for breakfast? Can't do it....so I had two! We had the French toast and the oatmeal. Now, I know this sounds like standard "American Food," but it was made with a... More

Break of Dawn, one of my favorite breakfast spots in Orange County has reopened in their new location in the same little strip center as before. The new space is great and has a wonderful, large patio area. The food is the same great, creative Asian/Viet/French/Hawaiian mash up it was before. My father had the beef tongue brisket and if... The food at this place is amazing. Former Sous Chef from Ritz Carlton makes this place an extradinary find!

Sometimes it gets crowded in this little space but it's worth the effort to get a table. I hadn't been back for some time but last weekend convinced my companion to go someplace other than her "usual." We both had the smoked salmon on oatmeal pancake with poached eggs. It was wonderful. Now I want to go back for some... More

We were taken here by friends who have been eating here for several years. A nondescript setting was gave us little warning as to the amazing breakfast we were about to have. The owner/chef, Dee Nguyen, has recreated a fusion breakfast menu that combines, American, Asian, and Mexican cuisines. We each ordered something different and I will now be in... More

We discovered this little gem 3 years ago by mistake and once discovered have come back often even bringing friends from out of town, Chef Nguyen has designed a menu to make you want to try everything they serve. My favorite. is the corned beef but the tongue & tail are not to be missed.

This casual restaurant is tucked into the area next to the Laguna Hills mall. The menu is quite unusual. You won't find canned corned beef hash. Wonderful and exotic delights. The presentations are photo worthy. I had tempura eggs on a bed of shredded pork. My husband and duck and an omelette with a butternut squash corn delight. The portions... More
