Wonderful Italian and fresh seafood

I really enjoyed dinner here so came back for lunch the following day. They have a really large and varied menu so I think anyone can find something they like. The food was fresh and really nicely cooked and the portions were generous. Prices seemed quite standard for Laguna Beach and I felt that I... read more

My wife and I ate here on Monday, June 29th. The appetizer range from $10-15 and the dinner entrees range from $18-25. The service was friendly and the food quality was excellent. Yes, I would eat here again.

Our party of three decided to do something different. We let our waiter, Kevin, do the ordering for us. We started with a bottle of Rombauer Chardonnay and six selected cheese and meat tray. We then had a spinach and pear salad with an absolutely unbelievable squash ravioli in a brown sage butter sauce. We had fresh pesto, the lamb... More

Alessa Laguna (actual name), is a nice Italian restaurant to visit if you happen to be in Laguna Beach. I agree with what other reviewers have said, that it can be loud and the tables are definitely bunched too close together. It's not a romantic dinner type of place. The food is good although not really great. I had the... More

Alessa was a good choice, the staff was extremely kind and understanding. There was an Iraqi waiters assist us who was very nice. try burrata... More

I've always ordered the Super Iberico appetizer which is pretty pricey but worth it. It used to come with sliced tomatoes, burrata and arugula. Now they've removed everything but the Iberico which is incorrectly sliced and dried out, with a few leaves of arugula scattered about. Not worth it.
