We had another amazing dinner in this busy, charming and fun restaurant. Will eat there again when in town.

The owner changed and the name changed, so do not look for Cucina - it is just Alessa. The food is excellent and not that expensive. Even the wine list is reasonably priced. We began by sharing an arugula and fennel salad and an order of sweet peppers stuffed with goat cheese. Both were great. Each of us then ordered... More

This is actually some of the best Italian Food I have ever eaten. Pasta homemade and melts in your mouth. I had Osso Bucco ravioli with mushrooms and sage and my husband had Lamb Parpadelle. Both phenomenal. Meals served with a toasted white bread and the absolute best pesto you will ever eat. Eat slowly and enjoy this event. Great... More

Alessa Laguna is one of the best restaurants in the downtown LB area. It is great to head to after the lunch rush has died and relax over a leisurely lunch. My usual lunch is the lamb sandwich because it is so unique. When we come for dinner it is usually to take advantage of the salumi & cheese bar,... More

Always great food, selection and service. A very popular spot that does not take reservations for parties under 6 people so don't be in a rush but so wort it!

They had GF pasta for my husband and it was delicious! We sat outside and enjoyed people watching and a tasty glass of wine. The menu was priced just right for the area and the bread in the beginning was awesome!

We had a nice meal here whilst in Laguna! I'm a big fan of gnocchi and was happy to see it on the menu and that it is handmade in house! It was really nice, not too heavy, and clumpy! My husband had the meatball lasagne which he really enjoyed too!

The best atmosphere, staff, food and drink for the best value in the world! Might be a slight over exaggeration but who knows, it's certainly true for me. The fact that they even acknowledged my mention of my honeymoon during the booking made it even more memorable for us. Ps have the lamb pasta, you'll thank me later.

Stopped here after our visit to the Sawdust Art Fest. This is a little gem along one of the main drags in little downtown Laguna Beach, not far from the ocean. It is great people watching. They have lots of enjoyable little Italian appetizers and meals. The bread is awesome. This is a busy place on a weekend, if you... More

I drive down from LA to Laguna Beach just to eat at Cucina Alessa. The pesto olive oil and bread that you start out with is addictive and I've never seen it anywhere else. For dinner, I always get the pesto gnocchi and mama's meatballs. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. One of my favorite Italian... More
