OK Food, OK atmosphere

We thought we'd give this another chance after pricey, marginal food eight years ago and ended up with the same experience this time. Food was ok, service was ok, and atmosphere in the front lower dining area is not great. Offensive, loud, bigoted guests at the next table made the overall... read more

My fiancé and I really enjoy this place. The menu can be a bit pricey but the food is worth it. Their happy hour menu/price is DEFINITELY worth the visit. The sunset from the rooftop patio is beautiful!

If you're driving, use their valet -- street parking on weekends is tough. Valet service only $6. Table service is very good -- we were in a group of 10. Food prices are reasonable, given that you're in Laguna beach. However, my dinner was overcooked. Had grilled mahi-mahi that was overcooked with steamed veggies that were mushy. Even worse, the... Nice place and a quality experience Highly recommend and good music too. Valet parking and xlnt. Service. I highly recommend the seafood and a terrific bartender for cocktails or a great wine list. A must try.

I've had meals at Mozambique a few times. I can't complain about the service or the location - with their rooftop area, you have beautiful and sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. The location is within walking distance of all the big hotels. Now the food: The menu is expansive... there is something for everyone. While not cheap, the good... More

We smelled the burgers from the pool at our hotel. We followed our noses and were not disappointed. the roof top view was beautiful. We even got a free bread pudding for my hubbys birthday. Also best ever,

Ok. Truthfully, I live in Orange County and have driven past this restaurant a zillion times. It looked intimidating from the outside and I wondered what kind of crowd it attracted. I am a no frills type of gal, not interested in glitz and botox. Finally I decided to go for it for lunch on a weekend with friends. What... More

I attended a large dinner event at the Mozambique while in town for a conference and I thought that the restaurant did a good job in terms of offerings and service for our group. We arrived at the rooftop bar just after sunset and the views are spectacular; if you are able to stop in for happy hour early in... More

We had a great time last Friday listenning to Adam Lasher ( from American Idol) and having drinks with the appetizers. They have a menu for small plates which is good for the people who doesn't eat much.we love the atmosphere there and they always have some music events. The other night we listened to a group playing Beatles songs... More
