Firstly one should write a review after a cooling period to be accurate and without emotion. 4 days after having a breakfast on a Sunday with the wife on a date, I expected a great meal. I am still incredulous how an operation can be so lax. Firstly a $35 breakfast for two is high (they charged me for toast... More

I have a monthly breakfast at Madison with a dear friend. We select this restaurant because of the setting which is all outside seating and the delicious food. The restaurant is an old 'Laguna Charmer' house that has been turned into a shop and restaurant. So many of the restaurants in Laguna Beach neglect to keep the old work charm... More

discover this place from rooftop conversation, the day before and we were surprise that we enjoyed the food - order the vegetable omelet , packed FULL OF VEGGIE and delicious, ricotta pancakes plenty and ok [ could use more lemon zest ], not as good as hotel front desk rave, yet tasty - self-serve coffee cart.. but it's the setting... We came to this restaurant for breakfast since it had such a great atmosphere. It has whimsical garden art for sale which was fun to look at while waiting for our food. You order in advance and then the food is delivered. I had the eggs benedict which was good, but the fries with it were not that great. Not... More

Madison Square and Garden Cafe is just a short walk from The Tides Inn where we were staying. It is a cafe set in gardens around a converted house. The gardens and house are full of yard art and the surrounding gardens with trees. orders are placed at the counter, they give you a number and you find a table.... More

This place has great food but you have to wait up to an hour to ger your food. They give you your beverage before they deliver your food and due to the endless waiting time you cannot enjoy your deink with your food.

Great breakfast and lunch foods(sort of a limited menu, but all tasty) and I wish they could be open for dinner. Order at the founder, get a number and they will find you! Fido and friends are VERY welcome and the owner John is a great guy!

This place is fun to shop in. Tons of interesting items spread all around the property. Would go back to shop. The food was disappointing. First off, it's not full service, so you order, pay, then seat yourself. I had the veggie frittata. It was tasty, but it was $13.00 and didn't come with anything. No fruit, no potatoes, no... More

Eclectic garden/antiques store with fantastic food. We had breakfast and then went back for a to-go lunch to take to the beach. Lots of cool yard art that we'd have purchased if we lived in SoCal.

While the food pretty good albeit a tad lukewarm, we found the attitude towards customers really below standard; just short of being rude and I'm not talking about the nice guys who were cooking the food, this was from the owner/manager. We weren't regulars but that shouldn't matter, every customer should be treated with the same respect. Wouldn't bother going... More
