So, I went to Eva's last night for a birthday dinner. I've been meaning to get to this place for a while so it seemed fun for a special occasion. None of us had eaten here before. We had a reservation at 5:45 and were seated promptly. Ambiance: The place is adorable! It loved the decor with the bright colors... More

Yes, this is a gem for South Laguna. Certainly worth the stop and dinner. Three of us started with the crab cake, coconut shrimp, and spicy shrimp. All were very nice. Although, the spicy shrimp didn't really need to be so spicy. We love spice but the heat was lingering and didn't add much to the dish. (I wouldn't get... More

Eva is awesome! Friendly service and delicious food and drinks. 365 varieties of rum to choose from. All of our dishes were well cooked and delicious. Jerk pork loin and jerk salmon were both incredible. Restaurant is small and casual. Make sure to call ahead and they'll do their best to fit you in. Warning: kitchen closes early on week... More

We have been visiting this cozy Caribbean restaurant in Laguna Beach for the past 5+ years. Eva's kitchen consistently delivers! .. Spicy Caribbean Shrimp appetizer made in Eva's own concocted sauce is a must try for anyone who enjoys "extreme" heat! ... All the rum cocktails are amazing - Pink Punani gets two thumbs up. Menu is small but authentic... More

Eva's restaurant came high recommended but was not very good. Spiced caribean were over powering and the entree over cooked. This is a restaurant living on reputation, not its actual food

The restaurant was fantastic and the service was great. The portions were very large. I had the Jerk Salmon, which was very tastefully done. The spinach was very good too. The staff was very nice, attentive and helpful The dinner salad was very good too with pineapple. We were seated as soon as we arrived for our reservation. I would... More

We celebrated my wife's birthday last night at Eva's. While the service was friendly and and attentive I want to direct my criticism toward the prices they get for their entrees. I ordered the chicken curry while my wife asked for the shrimp curry. I was able to find a fair share of small pieces of chicken in my dish,... More

With so many great places to eat in Laguna, I wouldn't choose this one again. Great drinks but the food was way too oily/greasy. Spend your money elsewhere.

Food is amazing!!! Love the fact that the spicy dishes are truly spicy! My favs are the blackened catfish and curried snapper. The Aubergine Choka appetizer is also not to be missed. Also strongly recommend the carrot cake for dessert. Staff is extremely warm and helpful. Its like eating at a family event. Its a little hard to find so... More

Stopped in for an early dinner on the way through town, had heard about Eva's from some locals several beaches away and the place was even better than we heard!! The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly and helped us select our apps and entrees from the menu, then helped us pair a rum from their incredible selection. Dinner was... More
