Hubbie loves it!

I am not a food critic by any means - grilled cheese is good enough for me. But, I will give Eva's a shout out - it is a tiny restaurant located on busy PCH in South Laguna. You might drive by and miss it - look for the twinkling purple lights. It's very small - reservations suggested especially... read more

Eva's is an instatution in laguna. It has been there for as long as I can rememer and I lived there on and off for 12 years and locals always talk about how amazing Eva is and her unique cuisine. It is located in North laguna on PCH you can find it if driving from downtown by looking on your... More

This was my second visit after a four year absence. The service is still slow. Nice folks, cheery atmosphere, unexciting dishes.

We had a great time at this restaurant. The staff takes great care of their guest. We loved the food and we will most likely stick to grazing the appetizers and dessert on our next visit. The entrees are delicious especially the pork but buying 2 appetizers for the price of one entree will probably get you the foodie experience... More

Great food. Excellent service (polite and on the ball). Quaint and lively atmosphere/decor. The best rum punch. Don't believe me? Have a couple. To the whiners...don't come back, you'll only be taking up space for those that appreciate fine food and drink, made and served with loving care. Too expensive? Go get food from the dollar menu at your local... More

first thing that pops out upon entry is the extensive rum list - really an amazing collection including some of the best that most of the Northern world is unfamiliar with from Venezuela & Nicaragua, as well as other choice Blue Label-priced selections. The food itself is very good, and comes in huge portions - we ordered 2 dishes for... More

I had an amazing dinner at Eva's this weekend on a quick OC getaway from LA. Eva herself was there to talk Rum with our table, and the food was delicious. I felt like I stepped away from Laguna Beach and found myself on vacation in this colorful, charming little restaurant.

So, I went to Eva's last night for a birthday dinner. I've been meaning to get to this place for a while so it seemed fun for a special occasion. None of us had eaten here before. We had a reservation at 5:45 and were seated promptly. Ambiance: The place is adorable! It loved the decor with the bright colors... More

Yes, this is a gem for South Laguna. Certainly worth the stop and dinner. Three of us started with the crab cake, coconut shrimp, and spicy shrimp. All were very nice. Although, the spicy shrimp didn't really need to be so spicy. We love spice but the heat was lingering and didn't add much to the dish. (I wouldn't get... More
