Delicious "Belgian" experience

We stopped by for lunch on the weekend. Very good selection of Belgian beer, with every beer served in the appropriate glass (of course!). The menu overall is “as expected” at a Belgian restaurant. I had watercress soup as my appetizer - soup was delicious and not too heavy. Endive salad was well... read more

We come here any time we are in Laguna. Service is great and the food and beer is just amazing and fresh. The chopped Greek salad is to-die-for! The bread melts in your mouth too. Always 5 stars!

My friends took me to this bistro last night. It is simple and in a basement, but not exactly cheap - it is in Laguna!!! Lamb shank was $34, coquille St. Jacques fish gratin $24 and my shrimp appetizer $16 with string bean and potato side $7. Wine $9-15 a glass. It is not romantic or fancy.

Every time we go to Brussels Bistro we expect and receive the best French and Belgian bistro food, and quality service! We LOVE the mussels, trout in lemon butter sauce (amazing!) - even the hamburgers are really good! It is so much fun to see the different nationalities dine here, and to see the interaction with the professional but warm... More

The Liege Meatballs, brought to the table in a small Le Creuset pot, with the sauce still bubbling from the oven, are the best thing I have eaten in a restaurant for quite some time. Also at our table, we had the chicken vol au vont and the spaghetti carbonara, the latter getting very high marks. Based on this, we... More

This was our go-to watering hole for years, with the excellent Belgian tap selection and comfort food. Then became one of our routine stops for couples dinner nights. Make a reservation though because it is "cozy" and below street level which makes it intimate whether at a table or seated at the bar. Love the mussels and pot pies mainly... More

Very cozy yet lively atmosphere, nestled under an art gallery in the middle of Laguna. A great mix of people from many parts of the world seemed to be there the night we visited. We enjoyed a delicious foie gras app and a giant bowl of mussels steamed in a light but savory broth with those delectable double-fried Belgian fries!

I've eaten at Brussels Bistro on a few occasions. The dishes are presented well, and a welcome surprise is that several come with a salad which is not noted on the menu. The food is sometimes very good and other times average. Great beer selection. Staff is friendly. I may return.

Since we are not from this area and not that familiar with Belgian food, I'm rating this three stars because I have nothing to compare to. The menu is quite diverse and appeared to represent Belgian food pretty well. The beer menu was outstanding and it had a lot of beers. The food was great and the service was excellent.... More

I have been here a few times since I discovered the place and - as a Belgian citizen - I can but highly recommend this place! The food tastes better than a lot of places in Belgium and the dishes are true to their origin. The staff is extremely friendly too. Never shy of a nice chat and their recommendations... More
