this is where i was first introduced to Belgian beer.....oh what a wonderful thing! Belgian food is very unique, and this is a perfect place to enjoy it. In the heart of Laguna Beach, understated and underground, you will find this cozy spot enjoyed by locals

Food was good. Great selection of Belgium beers was great; but they were a little flat and warm. Even my wife's bottled Stella was a bit on the warm side.

Stopped in for a few quick beers and appetizers. The fries were good but the beer was better. They had numerous Belgian beers on tap. Enough that everyone could find one of their liking. Did not get to try the food but the restaurant was fairly busy for a Tuesday evening.

Really felt like you were in europe where space is used differently. We went down the stairs so the street was at eye level. The walls were brick. It felt like we were in a basement. There was a lively bar that was part of the dining area. We had salmon and a grilled veggie salad. All fresh. All good.... More

Ate here on a Monday night.....all you can eat Mussels night.....for $26. First group of mussels were very good...tasty and big. Second group much smaller portion and size. Third group.....smaller still.....until frustration takes over and you ask for the check. For anyone that has eaten mussels before, the normal price for a serving is between $10 and $14. So this... The place is extremely casual. They told us that flip flops were not allowed and that some people wore jackets, but my experience was that I saw at least four people in flip flops and it was not a place I needed to wear anything other than just slightly above beach attire. Food was okay. We tried their famous mussels... More

I really enjoy mussels, in NorCal I was able to pick up some fresh batch and then boil them, here is SoCal I am so happy to find a place that finally makes muscles the right way (with the right beer)!

If you love mussels, this is your restaurant! We happened to visit on Monday which features "all you can eat mussels". For $26, you get bucket(s) of mussels, fries and a glass of beer or wine. We tried all of the different sauces and recommend the cream and garlic and the au blue cheese. Everything was delicious and the service... More
