Funky restaurant with great food and service overlooking the Pacific

Had some of the best shrimp tacos at the Coyote Grill. The wait staff served our food quickly, but without very many smiles. We were in and out within an hour, but the food did not taste like it was rushed. We were able to sit and have a beer while watching the sun set. Who could ask for more... More

The same menu for lunch and dinner, but if you dine from 4 to 6pm, try the happy hour special which is a combo of two tacos, two enchiladas or one of each, beans and rice for only $8.75. These are filled w your choice of fish, shrimp, longostino, carnitas, beef, pork and several others. The lunch special is a... More

I used to live in this area and loved that place. Originally I found it because of an article in a magazine, which even described it as a favored spot from Heather Locklear. Back then it was hip, trendy, had outstanding food and an amazing view from the back porch. Now they changed the back porch and almost completely closed... More

Cheap eats with great service. Slight ocean view. Quick meal. Nothing fancy, but tasty and authentic. Happy Hour specials on good and wine were a BONUS.

We eat here every time we visit and it never disappoints. Go on a weekday. It is much easier to get the table you like. After dinner, walk out the front, turn to your left and take the street down to the beach. It is a hidden gem and you can walk off some of that great food!

for sunday brunch, this place always has a line of people waiting to get in - a pretty good sign of how popular it is. we have dropped in more than once during happy hour in the bar. it can be crowded! i've always had great tacos and conversations here.

Love the shrimp tacos and my husband enjoyed his fish tacos. Place is not much to look at but the staff was friendly and the food was great.

Nice extensive menu for a small restaurant. Very efficient with moving people in and out. Good comes quickly, tastes good, and the eclectic servers are friendly

Loved the shrimp tacos and my friends enjoyed their burritos. Lots of great dishes including vegetarian. Portions are generous and you can't beat the taco Tuesday specials, including $4 margaritas. This place is a locals hangout, so you know the food is good. Pretty small and cute atmosphere...nothing fancy, but nice. Parking can be tricky since it's in Laguna, but... More
