In my past business trips to Laguna Beach, my hotels had always referred me to the usual subjects ( penguin cafe, etc).... All fine places but I wanted something a bit different. As I was checking out, my valet( now a friend after fetching my car at weird hours) recommended Coyote Grill on the south end of Laguna Beach. From... More

Our nephew took us here for a fantastic dinner. This is one of his favourite places . Prices were great and so was the service. Not fancy and you might not be impressed from the outside but it is well worth the visit.

Revisited CG after a 5 year separation since moving to the East coast. It felt like coming home to a comfy breakfast. The patio has been enclosed so that even on cool winter mornings it is very comfortable. The philly scramble and the carne asada are terrific as are the black beans. No need to choose. Between potatoes or beans... More

We ate breakfast here two years ago and are back in the neighborhood so had breakfast again today. They serve black beans and potatoes with each breakfast dish, along with flour or corn tortillas. Sitting on the porch affords you a view of the ocean.

Ordered Carne Asada. I thought this would be something like chili-con-carne, but was actually half a cow. A cooked (not grilled) piece of meat it had to be folded in two to fit on the plate. Not tender, but tasty, good with the salsasauce. Fried potatoes (could have chosen beans or both), two eggs, tortillas. Good, very popular, wonderfuly happyl... More

The "Coyote" is awesome! A great Happy Hour (3:30-6:30), excellent food, superb service, the best "Margies" around, beautiful sunsets, and not at all pretentious...a truly fun, satisfying, and memorable experience!

Nice place, ocean view while eating. Very good food. Very good margaritas too! Two good meals, a couple drinks each, and tip, under $80.

Everytime I've been here is just for drinks (haven't eaten here, yet). Nice place to get a few margeritas, before heading down to Laguna.

We have been by this place many times. Didn't even know it was there. It's been in the same location for a long time. The guacamole is tops. You know you are getting avocado's in the guacamole, because there are big chunks of them. We have never had it this way before. Usually it's all ground up smooth. We also... More
