Great Hangout and Food

Favorite amongst locals, great mexican food, some of the best fish tacos I ve ever had. The staff is super friendly and the service is fast, Dress is casual even right off the beach, they have valet if you want since it's in North Laguna right off PCH so if you cant get street parking it's always... read more

I took my friend here from NZ, for her 30th birthday dinner. We were seated next to the window, looking out over Laguna Beach and next to the fireplace, perfect. It was a busy Saturday night (quite rowdy inside), but we only waited 5 minutes for our table. The waiters were really friendly and attentive. We ordered different dishes, but... More

On a tip from a local we wandered upon this gem & at first glance of their menu I wanted to order one of everything! The place is small but the wait for ocean view was definitely worth it as the fireplace adds much to the overall feel of the place. The coconut shrimp is a legend & the red... More

Second time I have eaten here...7 years apart and it's still a great little place - nothing fancy but good sized portions and it's cheap for the area...they also have a great tequila menu if you're into that. Best thing is the sea view which on a sunny day is a nice spot.

I've been going to this restaurant for many years - even before I was living in Laguna Beach. I has such a relaxed vibe that it will quickly become one of your favorites. Their Cadillac Margarita is excellent and you can tell them which tequila you prefer. The food is very fresh. The service is always attentive. I prefer to... More

Excellent breakfast with a bit of an ocean view off the patio And a fireplace as well. Go for the Bloody Mary's, the yummy Chilaquilas, Beef Machaca and oversized Egg Buritis with papas and beans and tortillas! (Enough to share a plate as well). Good service.

We actually dinner reservations across the street but our restaurant wasn't open yet. We spied Coyote Grill and dropped in for a drink. The hostess took us to a table to accommodate six in the back with a beautiful sunset beginning. We reminded her we were only there for drinks and she said the table is yours. We were happy... More

I've lived in Laguna for 7 years and can't believe that I just tried this restaurant. Funky relaxed restaurant with great food and service overlooking the Pacific -- what more could you want? I had their taco soup which was filled with vegetables - I did not have the chicken nor the avocado added -- it was great without it.... More

Had some of the best shrimp tacos at the Coyote Grill. The wait staff served our food quickly, but without very many smiles. We were in and out within an hour, but the food did not taste like it was rushed. We were able to sit and have a beer while watching the sun set. Who could ask for more... More

The same menu for lunch and dinner, but if you dine from 4 to 6pm, try the happy hour special which is a combo of two tacos, two enchiladas or one of each, beans and rice for only $8.75. These are filled w your choice of fish, shrimp, longostino, carnitas, beef, pork and several others. The lunch special is a... More
