We chose this restaraunt instead of the Greek Cafe on the first level because the menu seemed more gourmet and expensive. Service was not great. It took 45 minutes before we were served our food and there was only 3 other tables occupied. There was no bread, hummus or pita to munch on while we waited. We ended up ordering... more

We are a Greek Family from Chicago where we have a very large Greek Town with many restaurants so our expectations were a little low not expecting to meet our standards. I have been to this restaurant on one other occassion in Oct. 2004. This time I visited in the heart of Summer 2008. The view is very good, the prices are reasonable for the area. I would recommend eating before 8pm. At that time they begin some ridiculous belly dancing (which had nothing to do with greek tradition or culture).... more

My husband and I both love this place. The food is interesting, not expensive and very good, and the entertainment is always great. Not the place for deep conversations. It's fun for two people or a large group (make reservations). more

Have been here several times, and have always enjoyed the fresh tasty food. Typical Greek fare, but uncommon locale. Perfect for families at lunch/dinner, and great fun for groups/parties - we did a birthday party there and the birthday boy got to dance with the belly-dancer. Great fun! I frequent the Aegean beacuse it is one of the most entertaining, interesting and enjoyable restauarants around. I have lived in Orange County my whole life and there is really no other place like it here. The food is authentic Greek food(amazing food:) and the atmosphere is authenticly Greek as well. we made a reservation for 10 for a Sat night. they never told us that there would be loud entertainment, or we could have simply scheduled for another time. we could barely hear each other 2 feet away. the restaurant was WAY overbooked, so there was very little room between chairs and no way to move around. food took forever... more
