My husband and I celebrated his birthday this evening at Picayo, he had the Coq de Vin and I the Sea Bass both were out of this world in flavor. On a quiet Tuesday evening, sommelier Francois and the team at Picayo made our first visit memorable. Excellent service, very reasonable prices, and simply succulent food. The Picayo Purse is truly delectable (grilled prawns, artichoke hearts, mushrooms in a pastry shell with a tarragon-merlot sauce), and so was the coq au vin, mouth-melting with plentiful and flavorful sauce. We have loved Picayo for years and the new lounge is a great new addition. It has low candlelight and sleek leather lounge chairs -- perfect for a martini with friends. The fine dining environment inside is very intimate as well and the food is out of this world. Superb French flavors with a twist of Mediterranean. We highly recommend... more

Their food is out of this world! The owner is sooo friendly and nice! He came over to every table each time we were there and just talks! He is so nice. GO HERE! It rocks. more
