Great tacos and salsa bar

We were looking for a quick yet tastey taco place before our afternoon at the beach, and La Sirena Grill was the place. Easy road-side access with street/meter parking. Delicious carne asada tacos and chips, with a variety of fresh salsas to choose from. Served quickly! Would come here again.

La Sirena has great fresh Mexican. I love their salad with salmon. Very fresh organic greens. I go to both locations but the location on Mermaid Lane is a sweet little hidden gem in Laguna Beach, I love to go for lunch and sit at one of the (few) outside tables or get it to go and eat at the... While recently staying at The Montage, this restaurant was recommended to me as a "locals favorite." It is across the street from the hotel and a short walk. Four of us ate there and I would say 3 out of 4 thought it was pretty good. They don't take reservations and it was pretty deserted on Sunday night although I... More

This is a small restaurant on Mermaid Street close to downtown Laguna Beach -- just a block from Forest. It's my favorite Mexican restaurant and is loved by Laguna residents, but can be intermittently crowded when the high school crowd descends...still it's more than worth the wait. Also open for breakfasts, but closed on Sundays. My brother said he would... More

I ordered the Blackened Salmon Salad that the young man behind the counter said was a local favorite...bad choice. The salmon was blackened alright, and had the texture of jerky. The mango in the salad had zero flavor, as did the avocado slices, and the dressing. The whole meal tasted like several flavorless ingredients tossed together with nothing bringing any... More

I traveled across the country to find this place and after using my GPS, I found it across from the Laguna Beach library. It really is just a holeinthewall, but the friendly staff and good food make it a must stop. Busy in the mid afternoon with to go orders and quick bite diners. My tacos were large and filling;... Excellent fish tacos and salads are also really good. Large beer selection, with great service. I eat lunch at LA Sirena at least twice a week. Guys as far as a restaurant for a date, it has excellent food, but a restaurant with a million dollar view, would probably score higher in your dates mind.... Hal gives LA Sirena ☆☆☆☆☆☆ a six... We love this little place tucked into the hillside for a quick taco fix when wandering the shops and galleries of Laguna. There is only a little seating outside, where inside there are maybe three bar stools. Open kitchen lets you see them grilling or frying your order. We think the seafood tacos, Salmon, Tuna, Shrimp and our favorite Calamari,... More

This is a bare bones, simple venue. Lines are out the door, but service is efficient with little wait. Menu choices are multiple with each choice offered with either vegetarian, fish(salmon or tilapia), steak, chicken or pork. My group chose salmon avocado lime salads, tilapia tacos, chicken burritos, nachos, chicken with rice and chicken quesadillas. We returned the next day(unanimous vote). Several tables... More
