Metro is a great place to meet friends at the bar and dinner in the restaurant. Drinks and food are great. There is a large outdoor seating area which is wonderful. Inside, I would opt for the tables near the fireplace for a more quiet evening. All the food is excellent. Great wine selection.

Love this local restaurant with big city tastes... It is loud so Skip on big holiday party type nights ...but lunch outside, table by fireplace or casual dinner on a weeknight is really perfect.. Their drink menu is fun and delicious, great apps and try beets and Brussels sprouts.

We like to eat here on a fairly regular basis, once or twice a week. The outdoor patio and externally wrapped plastic outdoor space are fantastic places to dine outdoors. Inside is good as well but tends to be loud. The wait staff is consistent, friendly, and experienced. The menu changes regularly which makes regular dining tremendous. The wine list... More

Stopped @ Metro for lunch and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Our waitress was very good -- efficient and fast.

We visited Metro for Sunday brunch encouraged by their Michelin guide recommendation but were disappointed with what is no more than your average strip mall place. To start things on the wrong way the milk in our lattes was spoiled, probably someone left it overnight outside the fridge, then we ordered orange juice which the waiter said was not freshly... Met a colleague for happy hour and it was a great time. The chardonnay was excellent for $5 a glass! The french fries were delicious - thin and crisp. Service was outstanding. I would highly recommend coming for happy hour.

We love the industrial-ish vibe of the interior with the polished concrete floor and streamlined design. We started off a little rough with the wait staff -- we ate late in the afternoon, then decided to switch tables on our own. However, our new waiter had a good sense of humor and turned our lunch into a fun and delicious... More

Metro has it all....great cocktails, delicious signature dishes made with organic sustainable ingredients, and a great neighborhood vibe. It's the perfect place to meet friends, celebrate an occasion or have a family dinner. Beautiful large patio with twinkle lights, and in the colder weather, a lovely and cozy fireplace room. Many new restaurants have popped up recently in Lafayette, but... More

My hubby and I went for dinner yesterday. I notes-ed that there were many girl/lady groups there. They were happy and noise but it gave me an idea that I should have my girl friends there too some time. The service was very good and so as the food.

The menu has many choices, but not overly-aggressive. What we like is the choices of small plates, and the choices of entrees. The food is tasty. Our server, Catalin, was very helpful, and made excellent suggestions, when asked. He also gave us "time" to decide, so we could choose, and eat at our pace, NOT their pace. There is also... More
