Disappointed

Everything on the menu of a good restaurant should be good and it wasn't. My rib eye was very good but my wife's pasta was tasteless. A cookie came with the meal and it was dry and also tasteless. The service was okay for a high end restaurant but nothing exceptional. The wine list was well chosen... read more

When you walk through the door you feel like you are in Tuscany. The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable. This is one of my favorite restaurants.

We recently had dinner at a table in the bar area of the restaurant. We used to eat very frequently at the restaurant but had taken a hiatus (the menu became ordinary and atmosphere dull). We were so pleasantly surprised by our recent experience. The food was delicious, fresh and interesting. Our waiter was top notch. The atmosphere was busy... More

We enjoyed a fine meal served by an excellent waiter in a beautiful setting with a comfortable atmosphere next to a large fireplace.

When we are in the mood for great food, friendly faces, we head to Postinos and belly up to the bar, which is copper and heated and perfect on a cold night. The chef is constantly changing the menu, but there are a few signature dishes including the short ribs and rabbit pasta that shouldn't be missed. One of my... More

We had a very nice Sunday night meal at Postino. The short ribs were tender and very flavorful. My wife had the pork tenderloin that was also very good. Service was very good although it took a long time for my dessert to come out.

We celebrated our recent 40th wedding anniversary at Postino. We were seated at first inside, too near the kitchen and loud fans. The hum/blowing irritated y wife's ears. So, we asked to be re-seated. The staff was very polite and apologetic and quickly whisked us to a table on their outdoor patio. The overhead heaters made the cool night comfortable.... More

Got here early for a business meal and it soon filled up with everyone in the neighborhood. Been here for years, lots of wood decor and private rooms to hold over 180 covers. Long time employees are good at their jobs providing excellent service. Food was excellent and timely. Not overbearing, our server was knowledgeable and helpful with his suggestions... More

For a birthday dinner, we chose Postino. The decor and atmosphere were charming for a special occasion. I wish there had been more vegetarian options on the menu. There was only one very humdrum entree choice (eggplant parmesan) which was tasty and well served. Service was well above average. My husband slurped up every bit of the dessert.

I have been coming here for years and really think it is one of the best restaurants in town, but I ordered my old standby favorite and instead of the stew like dish, it was a big slab of meat and uncooked shallots in a sauce that clearly hadn't cooked very long. I was very disappointed. I guess I should... More
