Because it was a cool night, we sat inside; in good weather, definitely request the patio. With brick walls, an open kitchen, and several moderate-sized connected rooms, Postino can hold a lot of people in an intimate atmosphere. There was a lot of romance and celebration in the air; it's that kind of place. As usual, we shared a couple... More

I have been here multiple times for Dinner last time being in June. We usually stayed in the long and narrow conference room. I found the service was quite attentive despite large number of customers. The food and dessert were good. I liked their house salad, spare ribs, steaks, and fish dishes. The Tiramisu was good but the other desserts... More

We hosted a vendor dinner there for about 11 people total. We had a semi private room. The drinks and food were very good.

Came for lunch on a Monday. The food was good and the waitress attentive. Problem was we were the only people there. Had I known I would have chosen a different place as I enjoy people watching.

Relaxed to a lovely dinner of red wine, Insalata Arugula with goat cheese and strawberries, the Costata (the sauce over the braised short ribs is delicious) and dreamy Tiramisu. The atmosphere in this charming Lafayette restaurant is always welcoming. The service is attentive. I know I will enjoy my evening when I frequent this restaurant!

We have had several dinners here and truly enjoy the creative menu and blend of flavors. The service is always top notch, and they even gave us a few appetizers to taste. We had a family birthday party here for about 50 people and they were awesome helping set a great menu with several choices for each person per course.... More

We expected a lot from this upper-end restaurant in Lafayette. The food was good, but expected a little better for the price point. The service was professional and attentive as expected at this type of restaurant. We enjoyed the ambience - this is a very busy place. I need to visit again to really provide a more thorough review and... More

My wife had made a reservation and provided very explicit instructions for our dining at Postino months in advance of hosting 11 of us for a birthday celebration. When we arrived, the staff had little information about our party and needs. The service and food turned out to be OK at best. The wine was good, which we selected in... More

Their salmon was excellent - cooked just the way I like it (well done as I requested). The veal was good but not very tender. All the vegetables were cooked the right way (NOT over cooked).

Postino is a favorite restaurant in the East Bay and they continue to surprise and delight. While we waited for our fireside table to be ready, we enjoyed a glass of chardonnay by the fire pit, a very lovely way to begin the evening. I love white table cloth dining for those special dates and Postino delivers on class and... More
