Great seasonal food excellently prepared. Service was terrific. This all came at a reasonable price.

Inside it is quiet and lovely. The outside dining is in a very pretty courtyard. Excellent service on two lunch dates. Lobster Salad and the burger were very good.

Small, cozy, very friendly restaurant. A great all around restaurant that supports the community by using local ingredients.

This restaurant was excellent. Slow service at first. 15 minute wait to get our drinks (at least) but smooth sailing after that. The duck breast was juicy, thick and cooked to perfection. Lamb was good and again, cooked exactly as requested. The octopus appetizer was yummy and the beet salad was delicious. Quaint atmosphere and as long as there's not... More

We ate there on a Wednesday. It was not busy, so conversation was easy; it was not noisy, as it often is. The service was excellent, albeit a little slow for a slow night. We were really pleased with our choices: sea bass and scallops. Very nice presentation. Overall a successful dinner. Would go back again.

This restaurant is one of the finest I have experienced. It is a smaller, quaint facility but its cuisine is top of the line with delicious, well presented, and unique dishes. I do not hesitate to go at every opportunity.

Unless you know about it and where it is, you wouldn't know it was there....a lovely outside eating area....inside of the restaurant is small....waitress was terrific....explained everything about the menu and then each of our courses as they arrived...not inexpensive, but a very nice meal in a very nice atmosphere.....would return anytime....

The food was great and they also had a great wine list, but they put us in the back area which is so tight that you hear everything being said around you. Better lunch place than dinner place. I had been once before with friends and it was ok for that, but on a date, I feel it is a... More

Each month we get together with friends to explore a new restaurant. It was my turn to select. I researched Zagat and other web sites for ideas. Artisan Bistro seemed like a good choice. Artisan Bistro is on a small side street in Lafayette, CA. You have to be purposely looking for it to find it. Otherwise you'll miss it.... More

Good food, good place to get good food in Lafayette. Clearly a higher end place to eat. Been happy with the food each time.
