Keep going back!

This is my favorite go-to place in Lafayette for brunch, lunch or dinner. Love the fresh seafood, great sourdough bread, some interesting non-alcoholic beverages (plus iced tea) and they have an early bird special for the frugal minded. Desserts are very good, down home sweetness.

If you get a think layer of ice crystals floating on your martini - - that is a great martini maker who know how to 'shake-it' !! Good food - and good service. We are regulars and have had very few problems. Their fried Full-belly-clams are great and so are their Fish Tacos.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend of my wife's sister. We were expecting a nice meal with a bit of exceptional cooking. We were disappointed. The food was very average (some things a bit above others a bit below). For example, in one dish we ordered the clams had been over cooked to the point that they were very... More

I recognize that other people like Yankee Pier, so I didn't give it one star. However, my experiences there haven't been very good. -- service was efficient but not that friendly -- bloody mary was overly flavored with horse radish (obviously IMO) -- and, what ticked me off the most: they wouldn't do a half-crab half-shrimp Louie salad. WHAT??? That's,... More

I was not impressed. The food tasted processed and bland. Everything tasted the same. The atmosphere is stuffy and corporate.

We had a good time walking around Lafayette reservoir and after short drive had a nice dinner in this restaurant. Service was prompt, menu is good with a lot of fresh fish choices added daily. Good place to go again.

We are never disappointed in our food and service at the Yankee Pier. Their fish is fresh and perfectly cooked. Their French fries are 'not' soggy or limp. Their salads are always great. We really like their fish tacos with black beans on the side. Their raw oysters at 'Happy Hour' are great and at a good price.

Had our first meal here tonight. We chose Yankee Pier largely on reviews and the knowledge that this is part of the Lark Creek ( Brad Ogden) restaurant group. When we arrived we were promptly seated. Service was very attentive, the menu had plenty of options for seafood lovers, as well as beef and vegetarian choices. Our party all had... More

Having lived in Lafayette, CA for over 30 years I knew all the great seafood restaurants for which Lafayette was famous, Cape Cod House and Lafayette Seafood to name two, gone now. The arrival of Yankee Pier a few years ago was fabulous. Finally great seafood is back in Lafayette. Even though Yankee Pier is a chain, it is exceptional,... More

Took our family of 6 to Yankee Pier for Thanksgiving. For $49 per adult we not only had a delicious meal, but very generous portions. We've eaten here a few times and this experience clinches our love for Yankee Pier. there were many choices for appetizer, entree and dessert. Most of us took home leftovers for the next day. My...
