I ordered the Shrimp Louie and it was very satisfying with fresh butter lettuce and very fresh shrimp and avacado. Loved the bread! The hostess was welcoming and on a very hot day, the decor and ambiance were pleasing. I love the option of being able to sit outside too. I don't think you could go wrong here. It's a... More

We had our family birthday celebration in the back room of the restaurant and everything was perfect. Our waitress was awesome, and provided extra special service with a cake and making sure our food was just perfect. I had swordfish and which was grilled and delicious! We had several kinds of wine which were paired expertly with our food. Our... More

Every time when my husband and I think of going to Yankee Pier we think of the fried polenta triangles. They are crunchy out side and soft flavorful with garlic and herb inside. we would call the restaurant and make sure that they have that on the menu before we go. Other good dishes I like would be the fish... More

Love, love Yankee Pier! The big draw for us is the fish and chips. Having tasted excellent fish and chips in NZ, we always wish we could find good ones without 1-inch thick batter at a local place. I think these are as good as we're gonna get around here! Went for lunch yesterday and although I have had other... More

The staff was incredible with getting everything done timely and they all were working hard. Best seafood place with not outrageous prices. Atmosphere amazing and strongly recommend this restaurant if looking for a seafood meal. There is also private parking around lunch which is very rare in the area.

Great bartender - he starts making our martinis the moment he sees us coming in the door. Good free parking in the lot behind the restaurant. Also a lot of meter street parking in front. We had a new server that we have never seen before. We were there before 5pm and got in on the Happy Hour. They have... More

We have come to this restaurant several times over the past few years and it has always been a pleasure. We ordered a little differently this time for lunch in order to have a bit more variety in our meal. First up were the oysters; we chose to have two different varieties and they were distinctive flavors, which was a... More

If you get a think layer of ice crystals floating on your martini - - that is a great martini maker who know how to 'shake-it' !! Good food - and good service. We are regulars and have had very few problems. Their fried Full-belly-clams are great and so are their Fish Tacos.

This is my favorite go-to place in Lafayette for brunch, lunch or dinner. Love the fresh seafood, great sourdough bread, some interesting non-alcoholic beverages (plus iced tea) and they have an early bird special for the frugal minded. Desserts are very good, down home sweetness.
