Just fish in a tortilla?!?!?

I'll start with the good about this place, 1) the chips and salsa were great - both were very fresh with the salsa had a good kick; 2) the wait staff and other personnel were friendly and attentive; 3) they did a good job accommodating our large group (48 people). Now the other side of the coin... read more

My wife and I went there on a Wednesday night, July 22. We were thinking they were part of the Las Casuelas restaurant in Palm Springs which we really like. Apparently, they are not. It is owned by a family member with different menus and recipes. I had the combination which included the beef taco, chili relleno and a cheese... More

Great Happy Hour and the food is good. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes good Mexican food and fun, a bit loud, but still a good place.

If you like Mexican food in the American Mexican food sense then this place does it best. When I want a great cheese enchilada and beef taco this is where I come. This is where my family comes. They must be doing something right because there are several Las Casuelas in the desert to choose from. We've been going for... More

The food is quite good, portions are huge so good for sharing. Patio is a great place to sit. Tends to be loud so difficult to have quiet conversations

Even though the food was just ok, the outdoor dining is very nice. Misters when it's hot, good people watching. Service was friendly. Nothing remarkable about the food, but taste in Mexican food is very subjective. Reasonable prices

The chips and salsa are yummie & bountiful. The margaritas ice cold and delicious. All their dishes are cooked to perfection, huge portions too. When we arrive in La Quinta/Palm Springs area, we go straight for Las Casuelas !

We've been to both the La Quinta and the Rancho Mirage restaurants. Both are exquisite. Both are highly recommended. Everything we've tried has been absolutely superb. But----get here early: both places become SRO (Standing Room Only), with long waits. But their worth every second you have to wait. But don't just take my word for it. GO! Try them and... More

We both enjoyed the dinner, the meal was well prepared. I had a carne asada burrito which was fantastic, my wife had enchiladas which she enjoyed. The margarita was well made and strong. We'd definitely go back.
