Excellent dinner

We both enjoyed the dinner, the meal was well prepared. I had a carne asada burrito which was fantastic, my wife had enchiladas which she enjoyed. The margarita was well made and strong. We'd definitely go back.

The chips and salsa are yummie & bountiful. The margaritas ice cold and delicious. All their dishes are cooked to perfection, huge portions too. When we arrive in La Quinta/Palm Springs area, we go straight for Las Casuelas !

We've been to both the La Quinta and the Rancho Mirage restaurants. Both are exquisite. Both are highly recommended. Everything we've tried has been absolutely superb. But----get here early: both places become SRO (Standing Room Only), with long waits. But their worth every second you have to wait. But don't just take my word for it. GO! Try them and... More

We live in Los Angeles and Mexican Food is a staple. We are still talking about the food! But really the best part was we had two people in our party that have hearing aids. This really can be a problem when there is live music. Well they have a small private dining area off to the side and they... More

Service at this restaurant was terrible. From the moment we walked in, we were barely welcomed by the hostess who simply talked to her co-hostesses and barely acknowledged us. We sat down and within minutes my elderly mother spilled her water. A waiter walked by and said he would be right over to clean it up. We did our best... More

We ate here because it was a more convenient location (we were staying in La Quinta) than their restaurant in Palm Springs, which we had been to several years ago, and enjoyed. We love Mexican food, and felt that there was nothing special about our meals; it was a little too Americanized. We probably won't be back.

Let me begin by saying what an incredibly lovely restaurant this is! The decor is nice and colorful and sets a nice ambience. There is also outside seating for when it is not tooooooo hot outside. We ate outside, but quickly wished we had eaten inside because there were ants crawling on the tables and flies buzzing around. I know... More

Good drinks and service. The food was average for mexican cuisine. The salad was good minus the fact of only one slice of avocado. The atmosphere is fantastic, I would definitely dine here again.

There are 3 Las Casuelas restaurants out in the desert...Historic Palm Springs on the strip (worth going to), Rancho Mirage, and La Quinta. The La Quinta destination is worth it for large group parties and relatively easy to get in during peak season. That being said the food is just okay at this location. The Rancho Mirage location is the... More
