A local recommended this Old Town restaurant. We made reservations and before being seated on the patio, checked out the inside dining. A few people sat in the large dining room, and the adjoining bar was busy. We relaxed on the patio next to a tinkling wall fountain and enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner. Almost every table was... More

Good food fish tacos are a must!had a taste of the short ribs also very good. Service was ok but not great but the biggest disappointment was the wine list might of been the worst one I've seen! Considering the area they are in.

LOVED this wonderful place I found online. WE got amazing fish tacos and really enjoyed the ambiance and art.......a place to get to in La Quinta, the gps has it one road over, I think they moved so keep looking and asking it's behind where it used to be I think...............worth the look!! Four of us visited for lunch. We were able to get an outside table so could watch the people walking along Old Town Main Street. The diners are provided cloth napkins - that tells you something. The menu for lunch is somewhat limited, but still offers lots of selection. The choices are creative and somewhat different from ordinary lunch selections.... More

Came here with friends last Sunday. I had an appetizer and scallop/prawn entree. Both were good but the pace of service was unusually slow. La Quinta is very seasonal and the busy season can put pressure on restaurant staff. This is likely the cause of slowness.

I recently had the opportunity to have both lunch and dinner at Solano's, and was equally pleased on both visits. Solano's has a varied and well-priced menu, with something to appeal to almost everyone. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and delicious, and the service on both my visits was excellent. They have a pleasant outside patio, but the interior... More

Arrived for Happy Hour to a busy environment. Service was indifferent and slow; food arrived luke warm delivered by a different male server with an attitude (clearly NOT happy) who placed ( more like threw) our order on the table and took off. So much for "Happy Hour" !!
