Stopped here for appetizers. Had French wine with Duck tacos, Mussels and shallots as well as beets with goat cheese. Was very tasty. The Goat cheese was smooth and the best that I had ever tasted. bartender was very friendly and attentive. Was quite crowded so would recommend reservations which can be done on their website.

We have been remiss in not having previously reviewed La Brasserie. We have been regulars since they opened a couple years ago, and have enjoyed every delicious meal. The somewhat casual and very comfortable atmosphere is perfect for the regional French cuisine. In fact, it is "French Comfort Food." Last night for dinner I had Alsatian Sauerkraut with bacon, smoked... More

Three couples, with a reservation, met for lunch and sat outside on the patio. The third couple was late, but the server was very patient and did not press the rest of us to order and get things moving. The food was delicious and very well presented. The veggie crepe was outstanding. Staff was very friendly and efficient.

We ate here the other night and had some excellent seafood. Nice decor inside and also outside seating. Ordered the "La Petit" seafood platter--which had several different kinds of Oysters, jumbo shrimp, king crab, clams, and mussels. Maybe a few too many mussels and not enough of the other seafood on the platter. Otherwise, very delicious.

Felt lucky to run across this place. Sat outside as was a nice evening and they have a nice patio. We had a good time all around, no reservation but they squeezed us in as was still early for dinner. Good service, great food and wine. I had the trout which was very good and my husband had the cassoulet,... More

I stopped at the desk to be seated and told the woman I would like to dine at the bar. She replied just seat yourself which I did. As I sat at the bar there was a woman behind the bar and I was the only person sitting at the bar. She never spoke to me or offered a menu... More

This is a great restaurant. I love their liver and onions, starting with the butter lettuce leaf salad. Enjoyed the concise wine list. Tonight's special was swordfish and was prepared in a delicious manner. Reservations are a must. The steaks were perfect. One of the best restaurants in town, with reputedly the best chef.

Too bad I don't live nearby so I could come here for dinner often. There is a definite feeling of being in a warm, cozy French bistro. We had made a reservation and were seated right away. Service was excellent from our waitress, as well as other waitstaff (water glasses were never empty). Entrée prices are mainly in the $20s... More

Two recent meals, a dinner and a lunch were enjoyable, relaxed. Food was delicious and authentically French. Service professional, but friendly, and consistently excellent. Liberal corkage policy is always appreciated.
