Another pretty but ordinary restaurant

Brasserie bistro and bar is a well appointed, busy restaurant that is quite good until the food arrives, and you are caught up in a world of mediocrity. I ordered onion soup and trout almandine, which any French restaurant should be able to do in its sleep. B,B & B handled it as in a coma. The... read more

food is terrific, service excellent, prices moderate, tables far enough apart to allow easy conversation, most nights you will wish you had a light sweater outside (though they do have ample number of heaters)

This is one of the most diverse bar menus in town...have tried most of them and all have been wonderful. The Ahi Tuna tostadas are awesome as is the Tarte Flambe flatbread. The service is attentive and friendly. The bar area is small, but worth coming early or a little later. For full dinners the patio is very nice and... More

La Brasserie is tucked into a corner of a large shopping center at Point Happy in La Quinta. The food is excellent, well prepared and well served. The inside dining can be very noisy and disturbing, especially if there is a large party, but the patio dining from March to November is delightful. The food has a French flare with... More

We are part time regulars...there's not a visit to the area in the past 3-4 years that hasn't included a meal at La Brasserie...if you like French food...not the 3 star Michelin food but, just solid, very French food, then, no need to go anywhere else in the Valley! We almost always have the same thing...snails and mussels (this time... More

The wait staff was excellent here. The portions of food were surprisingly large and for the most part tasty. The carrot/ginger soup was something I had not eaten before and I enjoyed it. The only negative was the chocolate dome which was not fine. The chocolate in the dome was heavy making it difficult to eat and the insides were... More

We have eaten here twice now, once indoors and once outdoors. We very much recommend outdoors! The first time that we ate there the food was absolutely incredible. The second time, the more recent visit, it was more on the very good side. This last time, we both had the Braised Boeuf Bourguignon, which could have used a little more... More

The food here is so delicious! My grandma and 2 of my children love this place. Our favorites are their truffel fries, they are so good my grandma starts taking the kids after she inhales hers, and the sweet woman gets snarky when they don't share. My children order the same things, the mussels and the steak, truffle fries and... More

Went for lunch with a friend. The noise level was almost at the screaming level. Our table was rocky and we asked if they could fix it. Now they know that table is like that............. but I guess they want everyone who sits there to ask to have it attended to....or live with it....stupid!!! FIX IT! We moved to another table...
