The title says it pretty well. The space is spectacular - easily five stars. And the service was good as well. The food was very good (lettuce wedge) to just ok (prime rib and halibut). We were not impressed with he food but really enjoyed he ambiance.

Cliff House was recommended to us by a local at the pool at our resort. We made a reservation that night and we are so happy we did! The complimentary valet was a nice first impression. The walk up next to the mountainside with the waterfall was beautiful and made us feel like we were entering something special. We were... More

Very cool setting, you walk up stairs with waterfalls to get to the restaurant. The building itself and dining rooms also are very nice. The service was very attentive, starters were fine, nothing special. The entrees ranged from good to outstanding and the dessert was quite good. Definitely will return.

While the location in La Quinta / Indian Wells is unique of the side of a rock outcropping, and the vibe sells an image of 'you've found a hot spot', the patronage lacks youth and the food is cranked out for the numerous tables that fill this apparently small restaurant that becomes large once inside, similar to entering the Tardis.... Birthday party for 10 set at a round table made for great conversation. Started with good calamari, and the stuffed artichoke appie was suburb. We had crispy duck, ahi, seabass, steak, stuffed pork loin, crab stuffed shrimp....everything cooked perfectly and all plates cleaned! Service outstanding from the friendly valet service to the wait staff. Outside patio dining on a nice... More

Great Happy Hour, good selection of menu choices and reasonable prices. We were there on Wine Wednesday, bottles were half price, good value. Everyone was pleased with their meals. There are two patios both very nice and they always seem to be busy.

Lovely, unique patio setting with extensive menu selections at a reduced "happy hour" price. Great food and friendly service.
