My friend and I had a late dinner there and didn't have reservations but were told we could sit in the lounge area and order dinner. There was a piano player which added to the nice ambiance. I ordered the Linguini , it was too lemony for me but my friend loved it, so it just depends on the taste.... More

I have dined here twice in past. This year, the food remained quite good, but staff was an issue. they were slow and very distracted. They brought the incorrect bottle of wine, which, where we were sitting was dark and it wasn't until the bill came that they subbed a much more pricey bottle. The experience was really a wreck;... Dinner here last January was spectacular. This week, not so. The steaks last year were some of the best we had. This year, not so. Maybe they have changed meat suppliers. If they have they should switch back. The place was not full but they seem to place everybody at adjacent tables. At the prices charged one expects better.

Our visits to Morgans at LaQuinta had always been memorable on previous visits to the desert but our most recent visit left us wondering if the place was slipping or the restaurant's management had changed. The spacing between courses was exceedingly long causing us to wonder if we had been forgotten. When the main courses were eventually delivered, they were... More

The food was a bit pricey but extremely good. Because it is a steak house we had (shocker!) steak. I had a truly excellent Wagyu New York strip and my lovely wife had a sirloin that was a bit over garnished that obscured the beef flavor. Our server Magdalena was excellent with perfect timing (did I spell that correctly?). The... More

Morgan's is a great place to go with your family. When I went with my grandparents I ordered the tenderloin med-rare and some fries. The tenderloin was so... just... perfect. It melted in you mouth and was just so tender unlike some of the other tenderloins that I had. The fries were just your run-of-the mill fries nothing exiting. The... More

Had dinner for our 20th anniversary here. Pianists was playing lots of Billy Joel in the lounge. Food was out of this world. I had the filet. Holy Cows!

We have dined many times at Morgans. It has always been special. But...this Christmas Eve was totally out of character for them. First we were seated outside which can be nice and fun. However, we were seated as far out as they could with no lighting and next to the kids fun zone. So we heard lots of noise from... More

Morgan's is one of our favorite restaurants. We dine there on special occasions a couple of times a year during the winter season for the last several years. The appetizers, soups/salads,and entree selections are all excellent as are the wine choices. Following our cocktails, our group of 4 had roasted baby beet salads, Pacific oysters followed by our entree selections... More

We went there for our anniversary and was really impressed with the setting and the food. The bartender was awesome he made our drinks the way we asked for them and was very friendly. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. It was just an overall wonderful experience. I would definitely recommend the place.
