Great margaritas!

I usually stop here when I visit San Diego. It's just a natural, conveniently located stopping off place for a relatively quick meal. Daughter #2 suggested we lunch here when we were at Grossmont Center Mall. Lots of parking available and easy to get in and out. Since it is one of my favorite... read more

We LOVE this place. We fell in love with it years ago when it was at Bazaar del Mundo and every time we visit San Diego we always make the trip out for a meal. This visit did not disappoint. Service was exceptional. Margaritas were top notch, and my personal favorite - the Pico Chimichanga - was delicious. My daughter... More

It's hard to rate Mexican restaurants in San Diego because there are so many. This place has good energy and a nice atmosphere and it draws a weekend crowd for sure. It is located in a mall but allows for plenty of parking. The food was tasty and good, but nothing so spectacular it would draw me here specifically. I'd... More

Service is always fast and friendly. The food is really good an I love their fresh hand made tortillas, flour and corn. The outdoor patios are really nice. A favorite destination when I'm on the La Mesa area.

Mariachis in the evening go from table to table. Wide range of items to choose from. Full bar available. Lots of chips and salsa while waiting for main meal. It can be noisy, but it's wonderfully festive. Rather large dining room, and many choices.

I have been going to Casa de Pico since the 70's and it is sad to say that the quality and authenticity has gone slowlly downhill. But especially since it moved to this location. The food is tasty, but if you reeaaally like the real thing, there are so many other excellent, worthy Mexican restaurants. Tourists really like the food... More

Known for their freshly made home made tacos, this restaurant will not disappoint. In addition to tradition fare that you will find at any Mexican restaurant, Casa de Pico also offers many house specialties. Both the queso dip and the guacamole are great appitizers, and from there just choose what you would like. I called a day ahead for our... More

I have been going to Casa De Pico since the late 1980's. I have yet to be disappointed. In Old Towne, there was always a long wait, so Grossmont Center was a good move. Still nearly packed, however. The food is reeeaally good, and reasonably priced. The homemade tortillas are to kill for! Friendly atomsphere and service always. Destination restaurant... More

Casa de Pico is generally a good all-around Mexican restaurant. There are typical choices and even some that are a more unique find on the menu. The food is good and the portions are large. This is a good time to enjoy some good lunch specials for a very good price. The beef and bean tostada with a large helping... More
