One of the better Mexican food restaurants in the San Diego area

I also enjoy a visit to this classic Mexican restaurant with good service and delicious food. Frequent visits over the years have confirmed a reputation for goodness. Recommended.

We sat on the patio and enjoyed drinks and good food. Everyone enjoyed their meals which were ample so you definitely don't go hungry. Half of us took home the leftovers. I remember eating at this restaurant when it was in Old Town. Glad to see they haven't lost their ability to serve up a good meal with the change.... More

The decor and service at this restaurant are first rate. It's a beautiful place to be. I was in town on business and local colleagues wanted to go here so I went along. I had read a review on another site about a visitor who got sick here twice and felt the chips and/or salsa were to blame so I... More

Like so many Mexican restaurants, other than the Mexican rice which actually had nice flavor, the rest of the food... Not so much. So many Mexican places live on adding a bit of heat and calling that flavor... Doesn't cut it with me. Despite the fact that we arrived during happy hour, because we chose to sit on the patio... I've been here with a few people and large parties many times. They're always very accommodating for everyone that walks through their front doors. Last time we were at their outside dining area, fountain made it quite relaxing and refreshing for our conversations.

This is a fun place to go for a birthday celebration or retirement. They handle large groups well. The foods is good and there is plenty of it. Most entrees could easily feed two people The atmosphere is colorful and fun and service is good They make their own tortillas on site and you can even watch them being made.

They've been around for a while, and we have been going to smaller Mexican places. But, in a return visit last week, we found the food and service excellent, in a very nice setting. And, the prices and menu choices remain attractive. We will return!

We started going here when they were still in Old Town and the food is still spectacular. Great service excellent food. Nice fresh, spicy salsa and the best Margaritas in town. And I love the Mariachi entertainment! I love the way they do Mexican food here...even if it's something that's not spicy.....it's always served HOT!!!

Casa De Pico is a very fun, tasty Mexican restaurant. Generous portions, efficient service and a pretty atmosphere. The chips are very good, as is the salsa. Everything tastes fresh, too. I would give this restaurant an excellent rating, except for two things: the parking gets pretty intense during mealtimes. The lot is cramped and people zip around frantically. Beware... More
