Try The Brigatine in La Mesa for Lunch

We like to visit the Brigantine in La Mesa, California for lunch. Try the lobster and crab cobb salad or the wonderful fish tacos. We also enjoy the clam chowder and crab and shrimp fondue. Great waitstaff has always been found at the La Mesa property.

We had a large family dinner here and had a wonderful experience. The seafood was excellent, and the service was great! Prices were reasonable for the quality of food and the atmosphere is very nice. Plus there's plenty of parking.

I like the Brigantine restaurants very much for their service, excellent food items and atmosphere. The La Mesa Brig is close and my personal favorite. I have never had a bad lunch or dinner meal ever! I enjoy their dark bread with sweet butter, the soups which are tasty good and the salads very fresh. I also have had their... More

Very accommodating when we arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservation. We had nice booth by a window but seating four people at dinner time was a little tight. The specials dinner menu is portion perfect with a before and after treat. My husband and I each ordered the marinated & grilled swordfish with avocado-lime butter (yes, avocado-lime butter) and... It was a good thing that we arrived shortly after 4pm on a Monday because we got the last two seats at the bar. Now we understand why our friends go very early for HH on Taco Tuesday and Wine Wednesday. The house chardonay was excellent, as was the house margarita. The clam chowder was hot and tasty. We then... More

It is fine dining but the prices are reasonable for a celebration. It is close to many businesses and shopping mall, therefore, will find business men and women having lunch there often. The service and food quality are excellent with a wide variety of items on the menu.

Have been going to the Brig for many years. Has the best seafood and service. We always meet with friends at the bar for happy hour then have dinner. The Fish Tacos are awesome! Sunday brunch is great with endless champagne and a wonderful selection.

We are celebrating the news that the Brigantine will now be building a restaurant on the San Diego downtown waterfront. Meanwhile, we are thrilled to have the Brigantine located close to our neighborhood. It's the best seafood in this area. Do you like King crab legs, real King salmon (not farm-raised) and oysters? Do you like divers scallops and prawns?... More

Brought 40 of our clients here recently and had an excellent meeting. Beware that they have changed the banquet room a lot and capacities have changed--things got snug in a hurry with 40. Still, the staff did a great job and along with excellent AV support, this was a very successful evening.
