Very views of the ocean and surrounding area. Our views were partial (we were sitting out back) but still nice. The french toast was great. The parfait so so. In all did not stand out relative to other breakfast options we had in SD.

We didn't love this place. The view was amazing but the smell surrounding the restaurant was awful. The food was ok, I had the 'coast toast', I enjoyed that. My husband had chilaquiles and he didn't like them at all. He's had them at several restaurants and this was the first place he didn't like them at all. We wouldn't... More

Stopped by for a quick lunch during Restaurant week. Very nice. The chowder is a really good pick for starters. Well done. I had the salmon BLT - another good choice. Mellow taste of Salmon accented with smokey bacon. The salad (assorted greens) was perfect - very fresh with a light dressing. The view is really great but note that... More

My friend and I went to Brockton Villa for lunch. I must say, the view is absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, due to what I think is bird excrement, it causes a very bad smell when outside of the restaurant. From what I understand, this has been an on-going problem in La Jolla Cove for some time now. Once seated inside the... More

This is a great place to eat and watch the beach activity. Lots of walkers, surfers, swimmers, gulls and seals. If you are luck enough to get an outside table, it is a spectacular view. The food is very good and the service is outstanding. I had the butter lettuce shrimp wraps and the were light and fresh. The staff... More

I've rated this 'average' because I wasn't wowed by it. The view is spectacular, of course, because it is at The Cove. Apparently Brockton Villa is known for their french toast "Coast Toast" and so that is what I had. It was good, but not spectacular. Well, if both pieces were as good as one of the pieces, I probably... More

No matter where you are staying in San Diego, this little restaurant is worth the trip. Plus you can visit the sea lions right across the street. My wife, daughter and I enjoyed breakfast here the first week of January. We sat outside and although it was unseasonable cool, the patio heaters made everything work. The food quite simply is... While this restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, my favorite is breakfast: from the satisfying and healthy Greek Steamers to the decadent desert like Coast Toast, there is bound to be something to satisfy everyone in your party. The views overlooking La Jolla Cove and the Pacific Ocean make this a wonderful choice for both tourists and locals. The restaurant... More

The crab omelette was amazing! You can get a side of Coast toast to perfect it! Try the 3 berry spread and the Pomegranate drink, what a great brunch! Make a patio reservation and impress!

This restaurant offers beautiful views of La Jolla Cove. The menu is extensive offering something for everyone. They also have a great kids menu. We walked up on a Saturday and had a wait of only 20 minutes and were seating overlooking the La Jolla Cove.
