We were seated directly in front of the dishwashing area which was very unpleasant. our backs were right up against the noise of the dishes being washed and stacked. Service was extremely slow. Took an unusually long time before anyone came and asked us for our drink order. Food was very mediocre and not worth the money. I failed to... More

We stayed in La Jolla for a week and although there are a number of lovely places to eat, this was by far our favourite. The food was beautiful and very reasonably priced. I don't usually enjoy fish dishes but decided to try the halibut after seeing it being served at another table, and my partner had the salmon. Both... More

Plenty to choose from, breakfast, brunch, and lunch. Reasonable prices and large fresh portions and a spectacular view.

This is a historical cottage right on the cove. Great location! That is where my review departs from my companion's. I had the fish tacos...I am sorry but it is really hard to mess up fish tacos...these, without the 5 alarm sauce were dry...I just don't do that spicy and the server had said the sauce was mild. My companion,... More

We stopped here for a drink on the second-floor balcony and view overlooking La Jolla Cove. The strawberry mojito was delicious, the breeze felt great, and I would certainly be willing to return for dinner some time.

Great Coast toast! View was awesome. Sat on the little porch overlooking La Jolla Cove. Great service .... First time visiting the area and restaurant. Got the recommendation from our hotel concierge and he was spot on!

In town for a few days, decided to check out the venue at La Jolla. They take reservations and I suggest that if you go, ensure you have them set up otherwise you may be waiting for a long time. This visit was a couples event, lunch time dinning for two couples. Two in the party opted for Salads (Mediterranean... More

Known for its breakfasts, but dinner was also very good. Lot's of fresh fish dishes and great views of La Jolla beaches.

The Brockton Villa is quaint, has a fabulous view, great service, and wonderful food. There's public parking just a few doors away. I've only been there for breakfast, so I can't speak to lunches and dinners. It's really a hidden gem in La Jolla.

Everytime we visit my family we must go to Brockton Villa for the fabulous "Coast Toast". Never visit without enjoying their breakfast. Have ordered this specility for the past 3 years and everytime I think it is just as good as the last time. Christmas, 2014 my son ordered the "Coast Toast" with eggs, etc. and just order 1 order...
