Went there for lunch and sat at the roof top area. The food was nothing special, they service was rushed and mechanic. They were not friendly or service minded. The food did not have the freshness you would expect from a fish restuarant and the menu was very boring. We had fish taco, blacken fish sandwich & pasta with clams.... More

If you are in La Jolla(which is amazing in its own right) and have a desire for great seafood, then choose George's. The food is amazing and the view of the ocean is to die for. I went with my brother sister and wife and had an amazing dinner. Their drinks(beer and specialty) are fantastic as well, they don't kill... More

Wanted to have Lunch with an Ocean view and so we came to George's. We did not make reservations in time, so we decided to wait, but the wait flew by because we decided to check out the boutique shops. We dined at the center floor Bar terrace which had more shade. Ordered a Ruby Red Martini, to start.. nothing... More

A great meal on a single plate; actually a bowl! George's special soup, smoked chicken, broccoli and beans is the best soup I have ever had. The view is amazing, the service is ok but the soup is unbelievable. Tip: If you are still hungry, don't order a salad, have a second bowl of soup!

Ok, there are three levels to this place and I haven't been on the bottom one. I don't know why we go back, but they do serve Sculpin. But the food is so-so and there service is worse. if you get a table without a view, it is not worth it at all.

With a view of the Pacific Ocean as the backdrop George's is a place to see and be seen but it's a whole lot more than that. We had lunch outdoors on one of those days when you wonder why you live in the Midwest and not La Jolla. The sky was crystal clear, the view indescribable and the food... More

Great location, awesome view, excellent service and good food. What else can you ask for. This is one place that is open on Christmas day and it is a tradition that we sit upstairs over looking the ocean view and just have some incredible food and ambience.

last night in San Diego and decided to give George's a try. the view is awesome from the 3rd floor, you can see the ocean and the cove's. The service was great, and so was the food. A little spendy, but then again it's La Jolla.

We had lunch on the Terrace. It is a neat open air set up with a wide ocean view and many umbrellas. Unfortunately we allowed ourselves to be placed at a table in full sun. Our mistake. We shared ceviche to start, which was pretty good. I had the Anson Mills Farro Salad ($15) zucchini, cauliflower, radish, California avocado, cherry tomatoes,... More
