Crab Catcher has ruined us for any other restaurant that serves crab legs. There is so much meat and flavor to the red king crab legs and it is amazing to the last bite. They serve the crab legs with potatoes and a corn salsa, both are great complements to the crab. We would have ordered another 1 lb. of... More

We took our children to the Crab Catcher over the holidays. It was a great. The food and service is wonderful and when we got the bill, it helps to have a Groupon. They are on Groupon most of the time. The sea food and area is a great spot for couples or friends visiting town. Family friendly too. We... More

Very posh, up class restaurant. Had some fish & chips. Fish didn't taste fresh. Also salmon was nothing great. Portions very less. We had some great food in Hotel Del Coronado. Also in sea port village - fish market --& many more in pier. & also glasglam quarters. Our food experience in San Diego has been very good leaving crab... More

We had the opportunity to have Sunday brunch at this beautiful restaurant with a gorgeous view, starting with champagne mimosas. A party of 5, we all tried something different:) & so happy to try it all. My favorite ...A tie between creme brulee french toast & the smoked salmon omelet. We've had dinner here before & it is a 5... More

We where looking forward to eat a nice and high priced meal. So where very disapointed with a very small dish, high price. Food was good, but served without any bred, offered side order just crabcake. Would have been nice if the waiter had let us know this was a very small main dish, without additional vegi ore etc. Rice.... More

Went with a local who normally loves the food, I am a seafood fanatic! Ordered a whole cracked dungeoneous crab cold, when it was served it had been under the heat lamp warmers enough to over cook the sides and make it a hot/ cold crab. When it was sent right back, there was no change to it, and a... More

My friend and I visited on New year day. The manager James was very nice to waive the 24 hrs wait requirement for using Groupon. We ordered Shrimp small dish, lobster bisque, crab cake special. We loved the taste. We seated outside patio . The waitress took picture for us. Groupon saved us 50%. The price was well worth it... More

Nice place for lunch but the dining room doesn't give you a full view of the cove if you're inside. Also, walking downstairs to get to the restaurant, there was a strong smell of seafood that we felt would be unpleasant had we sat outside. Service was very good and staff were friendly. Lunch was good but I would like... More

It seems that every time I go to a fancy, overpriced restaurant I am always disappointed in the food quality. That is not the case with Crab Catcher. While I do not like paying $30-$50 for an entree, if it is for a special occasion and the food is some of the best then I think it is worth the... More
