Good Food & Views but Expensive

Stopped here for lunch and got a great window seat with a view of the caves. Lovely to watch the seals. I had chowder and an appetizer and it was good but very expensive. Would go again because of the view.

My husband and I went there for dinner one night while staying in Imperial Beach, California and we both enjoyed our meals. The place is very romantic and I loved my crab cake that was filled with crab meat. My husband had a steak and he enjoyed it. The service was very good and the view was perfect. I would... More

visited Crab Catcher for a happy hour glass of wine and a light dinner. Nice selection of wine at good value and delicious cEsar salad dressing. Flat bread also tasty. Lovely ocean views and great service. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch after viewing the cave and shop across the street from the Crab Catcher. There was very little parking in the area due to construction so we ended up using the parking garage beneath this restaurant. Make sure to have them validate your ticket so you don't have to pay as much for parking...ours ending up being... More

We had a Groupon which we used during a visit to San Diego... It was $60 for $100 worth of food... We had great service (but it was a very quiet night, so they had time to go the extra mile) The food was good, but nothing amazing - but my biggest impression was the fact that it really is... More

A great place to eat in La Jolla. Very close to the Cove. Ask for a table with a view. The food is delicious and they have a wonderful variety. When I go I always go with the fresh daily seafood. Very romantic but you may need a reservation on the weekend nights. Great place for lunch!

We had brunch there on a Sunday afternoon around 2 Pm and had no trouble getting a table with a view. Service was excellent, and the food was prepared as we requested.

We probably sat at the best table in the restaurant. Beautiful view of the shoreline and ocean. Staff and our server was courteous and knowledgeable. Food was all very good. Pricey, but no worse than any other tourist location.

This a well known restraunt which is a bit pricey, but they do have an option for dining in a slight less formal area where you can order less pricey items if you just want to enjoy the view and ambience.
