My husband & I had the privilege of eating lunch here today. We chose the crab blt and sautéed cauliflower and Brussel sprouts. It was fresh and delicious, we would love to come back to try the lobster.

My wife and I flew into San Diego on Saturday, January 30th and had booked an 11:30am reservation on the advice of a coworker who raved about the restaurant. While the reservation may not have been a necessity and we arrived ahead of our reservation time, they had noted our request for a table with a view and confirmed our... More

Visited on a Friday evening and sat on the patio. The service was prompt, attentive, and extremely professional. The prices are high, but not unjustifiably so. The meals and sides were excellent. This was one of the top 3 restaurant experiences that my wife and I have had.

My husband and I had a memorable evening at the Crab Catcher. He had fish stew and I had crab stuffed halibut. It was complete with cocktails and craft beer first, a caesar salad, and a chocolate dessert. A wonderful evening all together.

The two best things about this restaurant are the view of the ocean from our table and the service we got from Scott our waiter. My husband's entree of salmon was very good and his salmon was perfectly prepared. I was not so lucky. I ordered Baja Spicy Shrimp over pasta...the pasta and sauce was very nice but the shrimp was... More

Great service started when we entered. The gentleman who seated us made sure we got a great view. I noticed he was doing his best to ensure everyone got the best view possible. Our server Jamie was excellent. The crab cake sandwich was tasty with two mid sized cakes. I opted for French fries--next time I would opt for the... More

The food was okay...but the fact that they serve free champagne on Sunday's was a PLUS! The free croissants were also tasty with a nice buttery and flaky crunch. My main entrée tasted too fishy though. I ordered a BLT Crab Sandwich with fries. I was starving so I was able to eat it all, but I had to mentally... More

Enjoyed a first class view of La Jolla cove while sipping on Happy Hour drinks. There was a nice selection of well made tapas. We enjoyed the kale salad and an olive plate with our drinks. This place was a upscale treat at happy hour prices.
