Great food! Fabulous view!

Fabulous view! Started with Pacific oysters on the half shell. Which were sweet & wonderful. The Red King Crab legs were sweet and moist(NOT salty & briny-like many frozen/Costco or chain restaurant types). At $68, a bit pricey. But it is La Jolla, AND the view is spectacular. My son had the Filet... read more

Great seafood for lunch. The crab ceviche tacos are small and pricy but exquisite and not to be missed. The crab cakes were great too. My husband thought his fish torta was too dry but the fries were great. And definitely try the crabby Mary! The view was spectacular. We walked in for our 12:30 week day reservation and there... We were in La Jolla for snorkeling and decided to grab something to eat while we were there. We made the wrong decision in restaurants. Our total bill was $54 (with tip) for oysters and three very small crab tacos. The tacos were not served on a taco shell but they almost felt like wonton wrappers. Less than an ounce... More

The food is okay but not spectacular, you are totally paying for the view. The portions are relatively small, we had an early dinner and then ate dinner again later.

We had a beautiful sunset to watch as we enjoyed our drinks and had dinner. The furniture is outdated it looks like this space hasn't been designed/decorated since the early 90's. The food is top-notch and the service was very very good though. Its a bit challenging to find a place to park on the street but its well worth... More

To begin with, just getting to the right place was a challenge. There's a huge sign out front...with no door to go into. You have to walk around and figure out you have to walk down a courtyard staircase to get to it. Yet again, there's no clear greeter or sign for a hostess, so we guessed and finally find... More

This restaurant was perfect. It is beautiful scenery overlooking the cove. There is nothing like it. The crab bisque is the best I ever had. And the crab enchiladas were outstanding. The atmosphere is nice and the service and knowledge of the staff is excellent.

I went for late lunch with an old ftiend, atmosphere was great, service was excellent everyone was very friendly, and the lobster delucious! Let's not forget the dramatic view to la jolla cove. It's pricy but worth every single dollar.

I love the Crab Catcher and on this particular occasion, the experience was outstanding. My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here recently. The service was, as always, wonderful and the food was spectacular. My husband and I shared a seafood platter that included Maine lobster, crab legs and grilled prawns. It was unbelievable! Plus, the restaurant served us... More
