Harrys is an institution. It caters to everyone in town, and the staff knows most everyone! We appreciate the retro- casual feel. Breakfast here can't be beat. Real diner food- good and plentiful! We make it a point to stop here every trip!

We live in the UK but every four or five years we strive to get back to La Jolla to visit friends. My wife attended San Diego State back in the day. We just love Harry's it is a unique experience. It has a very 'traditional and family feel' to it going back over previous generations. There is always a... More

We enjoyed a true diner experience at Harry's. It's in the heart of the chic town of La Jolla. Prices were very reasonable and we left happy.

Turned up here at 14:30 ish to the obvious dismay of the staff who were hoping to knock off at 15:00. I had tea and wife had coffee. Both were okay. I had an omelette with fruit to eat, while my wife had a paprika salad. Both were okay, but no more. Was a very disappointing experience and we wouldn't... More

After reading the Trip Advisor reviews we decided to give this place a try. It was soon after they opened on a Monday and we were among the early visitors. The coffee was fresh and hot, the menu was quite broad, and the service was fast and friendly. The bonus the food was as good as promised. My wife had... More

My wife and I drive down from Orange County to La Jolla at least 4 times a year. The only place we eat breakfast or lunch is Harry's. Family owned with familiar staff. I always order the Chili Bean and Cheese Omelette. AWESOME Chili! They have a great salsa, too. We usually sit at the counter to watch all the... More

I think this place was started by the original La Jolla settlers!! it is a Sunday breakfast tradition of a lot of La Jolla residents. So, get here early. The food is very good, and the prices are very reasonable. By La Jolla standards.

We had parked right across the street and remembered the review in Trip Advisor so we went in for lunch. A bit rundown and an odd odor. Food was average to good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Stopped for a couple of cappacinos. Seemed to be lots of people enjoying all manner of delicious lunches when we were there. Very good service.
