We went to Harry's for the much acclaimed breakfast. I had an omelette which was huge and full of flavour. The hash browns were a bit watery and the scone was very salty. My dining companion had scrambled egg and bacon which he felt was ok. Lots of good coffee and friendly efficient staff.

My husband is a La Jolla native so meeting here with his family was a must on our trip. Perfect place for families/kids. The menu was tough to choose from. I has the oatmeal pancakes and they were outstanding! Filled me up alllll day.

Went here for weekend breakfast after the Open Aire Market. A local place that has been there for several generations. GREAT breakfast! Choices for everyone, whether you like French Toast or health conscious faire. Prices are good, and you won't leave disappointed. Cool connection to baseball. The founder at one point as a kid was a Brooklyn Dodgers bat boy.... More

This place is why you get up in the morning. Breakfast to die for! Everything you want in a great authentic breakfast diner. Order what ever happens to be your favorite breakfast dish and top it off with a short stack of oatmeal pancakes. Awesome place!

Just a fantastic family run type of plCe. Good prices and great service. The Greek omelet had tons of the best feta cheese on top. Yum. And, where do you go that on your bill at the end do you get a hand down heart on it.

We had the pancakes with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, scrambled eggs and hash browns. The pancakes tasted great with a nice portion of strawberries and whipped cream (squirt type). The scrambled eggs tasted like good scrambled eggs. The hash brownies were very buttery/greasy and definitely not the best that I have had. The waitstaff were friendly and efficient. The... More

This place will take you back in time and is one of the oldest restaurants in La Jolla and all of San Diego. The breakfast is amazing. There is a reason why there is always a line out the door and that is because this is the place to go for breakfast and brunch in La Jolla

I have had breakfast, at 'Harry's', since 1969! However, since I moved to La Jolla in 1989, I enjoy breakfast here more often! The service is very efficient, the food is very consistent , in quality. The selection is 'All American"+'Mexican-American' plus if you need 'egg white' omelette's this is the place! One can up-grade to fruit, instead of hash... More

From the Hash to the chicken fried steak & gravy, to the waitresses and the decor, it's like a breakfast time machine. The counter in the winter, the patio in the summer, it's always great!
