Did not disappoint.

Went on my own 8am last Sunday after reading reviews on trip advisor. Had the coffee and eggs Benedict. It was superb and very filling. The staff were great, the food matched. Left at 9am and there was already a line for outside. If you want to eat in this great spot, then get there early..

I had read the reviews of Cody's before leaving for San Diego so we thought we would give it a try. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the nice ocean breeze and sunshine. My breakfast salad was good and my husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. However, for the price, we expected to be "wowed" by the food, which... More

My husband and I spend several days every month or so here in La Jolla, and always check to see if there are any new restaurants to add to our usual favorites. This trip, based on Cody's TripAdvisor rating, we decided to try a place we had seen over the years, but never tried. We both ordered the same item;... More

Really nice relaxed atmosphere, ocean view, great coffee and yummy french toast. If you're in La Jolla, I would say it is a must visit!

We love the food and view at Cody's. I recommend getting a seat around the corner for a great view of La Jolla Cove. The food is fantastic. I had eggs with a side of tomatoes and greens, and was pleasantly surprised by the farm fresh produce. We also ordered the french toast, and it was the best french toast... More

Codey' s is a good place to have lunch, but I know better places. The service was good, not great. The food was good not very special but expensive.

We ate here several years ago and remembered it was good, so returned twice this trip. Servers are friendly and attentive. The outside seating is nice with a great view from many tables. My husband had fish and chips both visits this trip. It was very good and enough for two of us. I had the crab corn chowder. The... More

Not sure what the fuss is all about this restaurant. Because of the great reviews on Trip Advisor we had lunch today on the patio which was great to sit outdoors in such beautiful weather, but that was the extent.... The kid burger ($7) came on a square 6"x6" dish. Looked like a mini burger (slider) with few smelly fries... More

Our hotel did not include this as a place to go, but it was rated number one on trip advisor. And now we know why. Everything was fabulous! Can't wait to come back one day.
