This place had a good rating on Google, but we had no idea what we were in to. This place is a cozy little cottage converted to a restaurant. We ate outside and had the blue crab Benedict. It was absolutely delicious. My boys shared a pancake that was obviously a spacial home made recipe. I am cheap, but I... More

We happened to pass by this quaint restaurant going back to our car from the cove. The place is very inviting. They served a wonderful fruity pinot. The menu is limited but they do mention that they serve comfort food. The fish and chips was fresh, the soup of the day, tasty and even my kids enjoyed some chicken fingers.... More

This place is AWESOME! We made it our Sunday brunch spot and were never disappointed. The cafe has both indoor and outdoor seating areas and the service is very quick. The atmosphere is very laidback and you are not rushed to finish your meal. They have a extensive breakfast menu - there is literally something for everyone; vegans to meatasaurous... More

We drove to LaJolla for the day and decided to stop at Cody's for lunch. I ordered the chicken sandwich with pesto and bacon and a salad. My BF ordered BLT with fries. The food was fresh and tasty. The vibe of the restaurant is laid back and casual (it's right near the beach). It's also centrally located near shops... More

Food was great. Service was fantastic. Fabulous little spot. Sat outside. Great value! When my wife asked for a 'to-go' cup for her coffee they actually brought her a fresh cup of coffee. Love the place.

We had the last meal of our La Jolla trip here, a quick lunch on the patio. It was just a hamburger but it was SO good! The great view of Scripps Park and the Cove were an added bonus.

We stopped by Cody's for brunch and decided to break the diet and have the eggs benny. Great decision.. I had the traditional and my husband had the crab cakes benny. Both were superb. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the Hollandaise sauce was delicious without drowning the eggs. They were served with your choice of home style breakfast potatoes... More

I'm sure there are a few places with a better view and maybe some with better food but there is no better value in La Jolla than Cody's. We went there for lunch two days before Thanksgiving and were able to get one of the best tables on the patio with a view of the Bay. The meal starts with... More

Given the great reviews, we made sure to stop by Cody's for lunch. We sat outside on the patio which was very comfortable and had a relaxed ambiance. We ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon, the mahi mahi tacos and the hamburger. The price range per sandwich was between $12-14. The mahi mahi tacos were excellent, the hamburger and...
