We had french toast and the veggie hash and BOTH were FABULOUS! The coffee was pricey but very good. The staff were really efficient and helpful. We sat outdoors and all was well but after a bit we realized we were being WATCHED..... the little birds are very bold and were waiting for us to be off-guard!

My wife and i were a bit surprised that Cody's was one of the highest rated restaurants in La Jolla. It was good, don't get us wrong, but paled in comparison to some of the other places that we were fortunate enough to experience while on vacation in the San Diego area. The BLT was very good; the fish tacos,... More

I have had breakfast and lunch here and the breakfast is my favorite. Love their french toast!!! Great atmosphere, eat inside (which feels like home) or outside with a view of the ocean. Great food and service. Like I said, get there early! There will be a wait, but again, there is the view of the ocean!

We were in La Jolla on the weekend so finding parking is insane. Be patient, my husband drove two blocks away from the beach and shopping and pulled into a street-side slot as someone left. The restaurant is small for the volume it does. I think it is only open 8-3 but check their website. We asked for outside seating... More

Ate brunch on the terrace. Waiter was lovely, portions were generous. Good location. Food was ok, nothing to write home about but good value for money. There were quite a few flies around. Had eaten outdoors a lot in the area over the week and not experienced this anywhere else so don't think it can be blamed on the location... More

Great food overlooking the ocean on a charming patio. The service was friendly and the prices were reasonable. Try to get the corner table on the patio. It offers excellent vistas of the ocean!

Fantastic food, very fresh, good portions, and a super view. Can't ask for more than that! Their french toast is as great as they say, as are their pancakes. On another visit, I tried ceviche and a fantastic grilled chicken/bacon/pesto/avocado sandwich. Make this a destination.

We made the mistake of going here for breakfast on our first day in La Jolla. The only problem was that it was so good, it put the breakfasts we had elsewhere to shame so we ended up going back almost every day! The portions were pretty big, which was great as they kept us going for a good few... More

I decided on Cody's after walking past in once and then moving along around La Jolla to see if I could findi something better. There was nothing I could find with the atmosphere that Cody's has. It is quaint, welcoming and has a very good view of the Pacific. My server brought a cute bottle of water with glass (similar... More

This was our third vist to Cody's and it was as great as we remembered . We have a hard time figuring out what to order because we love the Burger, Lobster Roll,French Toast,Calmari and the Beet Salad. So we end up over ordering and end up with a mini Buffet. The View is wonderful and has a cool Beach... More
