My cousins and I went here to grab brunch before heading to see the seals and sea lions just down the hill. Great location, good view. Nice outdoor seating if you can get an umbrella covered table.Worth the wait but I would go early if at all possible. The french toast is super yummy and so is the crab benedict... More

I happened upon Cody's last Friday morning while exploring LaJolla and looking for breakfast. I wanted to have a quiet breakfast and look out at the beach and this is exactly what I got. The service was a little slow when I first arrived, it took longer than it should have to seat me and get me a coffee but... More

Went for lunch. Great service, very attentive! Ordered burgers and turkey ciabatta! Very well cooked and presentation was great as well. The fries were very crispy and hot! We would go back again for their stuffed french toast breakfast! Looked great!!

I read the reviews and tried the French Toast. Syrup is not required when you have a mascarpone honey butter to go with it. A delicious breakfast with a nice ocean view to go with it was a nice finale to my CA trip.

EVERYTHING was delicious! We had giant biscuits & savory onion gravy; French toast with strawberries, candied walnuts, & mascarpone honey butter; crab & corn chowder in a bread bowl; & roasted beet salad with champagne vinaigrette. The atmosphere is cozy, Cali cool, with indoor & outdoor seating. Convenient to everything in La Jolla.

Had the crab cake benedict that was awesome. Wife had an omelet and son had regular eggs benedict. All were enjoyed.

Normally, I'm a tough grader for restaurants while on vacation. Cody's of La Jolla exceeded my expectations. Wife and I splurged on a trip to LJ (her home town) and stayed a week at the La Vallencia (which is an incredible property but that's another review). We got into a routine of waking just after sunrise and walking down to... More

Beautiful location just up from the beach, this place is simply awesome. The food is fantastic and the service is attentive and consistent. We ate here three mornings in a row, and enjoyed every visit. It is very popular, but the wait for a table is worth it. I had the Crab cake Benedict, which I would highly recommend.

We had french toast and the veggie hash and BOTH were FABULOUS! The coffee was pricey but very good. The staff were really efficient and helpful. We sat outdoors and all was well but after a bit we realized we were being WATCHED..... the little birds are very bold and were waiting for us to be off-guard!

My wife and i were a bit surprised that Cody's was one of the highest rated restaurants in La Jolla. It was good, don't get us wrong, but paled in comparison to some of the other places that we were fortunate enough to experience while on vacation in the San Diego area. The BLT was very good; the fish tacos,... More
