We got to Cody's early afternoon Saturday. We had to wait about 20 minutes. The only disappointment was you couldn't get a cocktail while you were waiting. Once we were seated, service was great, the food was excellent. I had Eggs Benedict and my husband had fish tacos. We loved both. The food came out quickly and we loved it.... More

We were staying at La Valencia. We looked out the window and saw Cody's and decided to try it. Best decision ever! It was terrific. Everything about it is great. There can be a wait so be patient- it's worth it.

Food, view, and service was excellent! Would highly recommend. French toast and crab cake Benedict was really good. Orange mimosa was just average.

My wife and I were in town for a few days on vacation. Walked here from our hotel for breakfast and enjoyed an outside table with a view of the water. I had French toast with a side of grilled Italian sausage, wife had Eggs Benedict. Food was amazing, service was excellent, and prices reasonable! You will not go wrong... More

We were in La Jolla for one day and it happen to be on the weekend. It was very busy at Cody's, we were very lucky that there were only 3 of us, and we did not have to wait to long for a table. The view was great, and the food and service were of a very high standard.

Coming here before, the wait was lengthy (20 minutes), but WORTH IT EVERY TIME!!! Hostess, manager and staff ALL very friendly and helpful. They had some special grits and potatoes versus having one or the other as a side dish; waiter said "that's free; try it and see how you like it. It's a new idea from our chef." Was... More

Excellent spot- we were lucky to get a table outside in the corner of the street where we have a beautiful view of the ocean. But what was really great was the food! We had the BLT and Fish and Chips along with the spritzers- all delicious!

This place was fabulous and is a must for breakfast and/or lunch. Sure wish they were open for dinner. The service was better than great and the menu and food was very unique and so very yummy! We love the place. Sitting outside and taking advantage of the view was just one of the many things this place has going... More

If you are looking for a great breakfast place where you can sit outside and enjoy the La Jolla coast, then Cody's is for you. Even on cool days you can sit outside as the restaurant provides nice clean blanket/shawls to keep you warm--although most days are warm and sunny. We thoroughly enjoyed our french toast breakfast here--one of the... More

Worth the wait. Great fruit mimosas, crab cakes, and other brunch offerings. The lobster roll was HUGE! Chicken and waffles were good too. Salads were fresh and interesting. Try to get a table outside.
