Favourite spot for breakfast. EVER!

I found this place on here and was wanting to give it a go, and when we arrived I became a little unsure. The fence is in a bad way with peeling paint and dirt everywhere, but I got over it and I'm really glad I did. We were given a table in the corner looking out over the bay... read more

Good service here. It is also a great place to eat outside despite the pigeons flying about. Umbrellas help with a bit of protection. Their fish and chips are good. The chips don't look like they will be good but they are. The coleslaw is drowning in mayonnaise so if you are not a mayo fan you may want to... More

My wife and I wandered up from the beach and found ourselves at a nice little outdoor patio restaurant. The place was pretty crowded which is always a good sign. After a short wait we got a table with a killer view. The sandwiches were great, the Staff seemed to enjoy themselves. Dog Friendly which was fine with us. We... More

This restaurant by far was the BEST that I went to in California. Food was just awesome. Staff were so welcoming and accommodating. It was the first time that I have been at a meal and not one person said anything cause they were enjoying the food that much.

I went on a Monday afternoon and got seated right away on the outside patio. The view of the ocean was gorgeous and the location is great if you want to take a walk by the cove and do some shopping after your meal. I got the fish tacos and wasn't dissapointed. The cranberry spritzer I had to drink was... More

My friend and I had mahi mahi fish tacos. They came with a small portion of black beans and cream, and the fish was very fresh. It's a nice spot to sit outside under the shade of umbrellas. We were first shown to a table in full sun, and chose to wait ten minutes or so until a shady one... More

Great brunch/breakfast and they allow pets on the patio. Great view of the pretty La Jolla Cove park. Not as busy and the Cottage but the food is fabulous too.

We visited Cody's for a late lunch on the weekend. The wait was reasonable; 15 mins. We sat outside and enjoyed the quaint patio setup. Our server was very attentive. I had the vegetable chopped salad (romaine, tomatoes, avocado, gorgonzola, carrot, roasted corn, zucchini, & lemon basil vinaigrette); it was very fresh and tasty. We also order the beet &... More

We met a friend here for lunch when we were visiting in Oceanside. She lives in the area and suggested the place--what a great suggestion. There was a line-up when we arrived at 1:30 on a weekday but we didn't wait long and still got a seat on the outside patio with a great view of the cove (there's construction... More

Recently my wife and I enjoyed a casual lunch at Cody's in La Jolla, Ca. This was a return visit for us. We both had the Fish & Chips which was very good and well priced. Service was very good. We both had soft drinks which were served in Mason jars. Out door seating provides and view of the ocean.... More
