Terrific lunch for the family after checking out the seals at children's pool. Peaceful, interesting dishes, delicious. Relaxing atmosphere.

Let me start by saying I NEVER order burgers. Burgers just seem so mundane at most restaurants, but after reading the description on the menu I just couldn't resist. Grass fed beef, onion jam, aged white cheddar, arugula, and an egg on top. Absolutely incredible! Though my husband and daughter's food was also good, everyone was so jealous of my... More

We went to Cody's on our recent visit to la jolla. The French toast was amazing as was the BLT. The sangria wasn't very good. I would eat but skip the drinks!

I went here with a friend and I am so glad we decided to go here! The food was really good, but I love ambiance, so I don't know if it tasted so good because of the incredible view?, or if it was really that good. I will have to say it was really that good :). We arrived at... More

We came here for lunch with our 2 kids after going to La Jolla Cove. The location is great, close to the water. We sat outside on the deck in the shade and it was perfect. Our kids are challenging to eat out with (one is vegetarian and one is gluten free) but there was something for everyone. My daughter... More

Chicken biscuits and gravy to start the morning, but it worked and was different and great location to enjoy La Jolla SD. Get an outside table and get an umbrella parking is difficult we parked near Tommy Bahama up several blocks and got free parking on Sunday. We just had to go back into Lajolla after being in SD. Traditional... More

The setting and view from the restaurant is beautiful, and the selection of food was good. The food itself was bland and slightly disappointing, but was improved by the view and charming atmosphere experienced while eating it. A quaint lunch stop.

Having been highly recommended we were somewhat disappointed. Great location, good view from deck, but deck a bit on the small side so can be a bit cramped. Maybe it is being a bit unfair on Cody's, after all they did not recommend themselves. The food was fine and the staff courteous.

I loved their pink lemonade and their outside seats. Not to mention their delicious menu and desserts.

Let's start with their great location. 1/2 block from Scripps Park and the ocean. I love that the Cody's is pet friendly, we ate breakfast on the patio with our two dogs (one medium and one small). It was a little tight for two dogs. My bigger dog kept trying to look at the table next us to see what... More
