Great tacos

Long tables for shared or large group sitting, garage doors rolled up, lots of noise. Mexican Street Food is the theme.

Absolutely some of the best tacos I've ever had. They offer a trio of your choice and I loved all three, chicken al pastor, carnitas and rajas veggie. All have different flavors and ingredients.

This location has indoor as well as outdoor seating. The bar has several different custom crafted drinks available. The guacamole appetizer is really delicious, We have tried several. My only complaint is that they serve one with cheese inside it ( not my favorite, it didn't taste like the flavors blended together well at all) Tacos are excellent.

We ordered the tacos, three each. Each had an incredible separate flavor and texture. We had a house marguerita which was very clean, strong and naturally "skinny."

Products are fresh, the service is really nice. I ordered the chicken tacos and it was delicious a bit spicy but Mexican food is like that. I definitely recommend this place inside or outside with a delicious glass of Sangria or piña colada (we took both)

Delicious food. Lots of choices and the drinks were great. Ok for families but no kids menu and the food is a little exotic for little ones. Tacos were also pricey but that is expected in la Jolla. Overall good choice especially if all adults. Have the guac w cheese. Amazing!

We stopped by Puesto for a late lunch (about 2:00 pm) on a Saturday and were disappointed to find that the wait was 45 minutes. Dang! We certainly didn't want to wait that long (especially since it was already late and we had our 2 young sons with us) but we didn't want to miss out of the highly-reviewed food... More

Had dinner with another couple here recently. Best chicken tacos I've ever had. Seriously. Best. The place is LOUD but the food is wonderful. Lots of beers to choose from, the food was wonderful and it's a happening place - I felt it was mostly locals but could be wrong.

If you want and authentic taco..this is not your place. But these tacos are good. Really good. Mainly because they all include some form of caramelized cheese...and cheese is good. The frozen horchata is also fantastic. The chips and salsa..meh. The margaritas are pretty good. But oooh it is expensive. Be ready to pay up, especially if you want booze.

I anticipated that the food at Puesto would be good as per the rating on trip advisor but I had no idea it would be that good. The tacos' are out of this world and are exactly the perfect combination of ingredients and spices. I was blown away!! The staff was extremely accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable; The atmosphere was inviting... More
