Great flavors and unique Mexican food in a vibrant and interesting setting. The ceviche, fruit salad with tamarind sauce and shrimp tacos are amazing. You won't be disappointed.

Stayed nearby and walked as I read about their octopus tostada. Exposed brick walls, glass garage doors that surely open on warm nights and an alt playlist in the background; check. Could this trendy place deliver? Had no trouble getting in on a Monday at 7:30 pm and ordered a Mala Aqua IPA and boiled octopus over black beans on... More

On vacation we went to visit the sea lions at La Jolla beach before heading to the airport and wanted to grab a bite before leaving. Found pretty good reviews for this spot here on TA and wanted some fish tacos before leaving California so thought this place would fit the bill. This is a somewhat small restaurant, so if... More

I had the filet mignon taco and it was amazing! I also had a chicken taco which was very good. The service was good and the staff was friendly.

This place is awesome. My fiancé and I stopped here for dinner one night. Our seats looked out to downtown LaJolla. There is outdoor seating too. The prices were very reasonable for a casual, delicious meal. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. She was very knowledgable of the entire menu. The food was mouthwatering and unique. We both tried... More

Fresh ingredients!! Great favors. Try every one. They all have unique favors. Great table guacamole but too much for two people. Great deal on taco Tuesdays. Good happy hour.

This is a good place for families or casual meal for couples/friends. I got the 3-taco plate, which was more than enough food for me. I got one chicken verde, one steak, and one cactus taco. The chicken and the steak were good, the cactus not so good. It isn't the usual Mexican food so check the menu before you... More

the restaurant has great views and good for people watching. Service was very slow. It took 20 minutes to get a margarita. Ask for the hot salsa, it is not too spicy but loaded with flavor. The Baja fish tacos were great. Christian was a friendly server just slow and restaurant was not busy.

Great spot just off Prospect, a block up Herschel and over about 100 ft onto Wall. We had lunch and I really really wish we had one of these in my hometown. its NOTHING like the standard mexican we are used to on the east coast. Fresh, tasty ingredients. Light, but filling. Homemade tortillas - one of the staff was... More
