Fun, casual dinner in La Jolla

We waited for a table which was no big deal - but then we ordered a plate to share and it took 45 minutes. We were a table of two and a table of 4 was seated well after us and received their food before us. The waiter was too cocky. He must not have cared because we already had... More

All right, so we tried Puesto La Jolla for lunch and ordered some tacos. What a disappointment. Puesto's quality of food is very average we had the ahi tacos and the chicken ones (al pastor and verde). Way too salty and tasteless. The homemade salsa was however a big hit. Service is professional, restaurant is casual and pleasant. Probably wont'... More

We enjoyed an amazing lunch at Puesto in La Jolla and amazing dinner in Puesto in San Diego. Both restaurants had fabulous tasty food, good atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend both.

Great atmosphere great service. The food is overpriced and overcooked. The margaritas bland and overpriced. We will not be back.

It's a very happy hour with fantastic taco combos, tasty margaritas and nice atmosphere.... Tried the chicken verde, carnitas, and don't miss the Mexican street bowl and crab guacamole. All very good!

I love this place! The food is amazing, the decor is fun and festive and clean, and the service is fantastic! If it's Tuesday evening, you will very likely find me here... :) We always start out with a bowl of their delicious fresh house-made guacamole, to go with our complimentary chips & salsa. My absolute favorite street tacos are... More

$2 Tacos!!!!! The best $2 is the Carnitas! The Chicken Verde, Filet Mignon($1.50 extra), and Drunken Pig were also tasty too. Chips and Salsa are complimentary. Everything is delicious, but these tacos are also on the smaller side and not very filling if you're a 6ft-2 195lb kind-of-athletic guy like myself. After 4 tacos I knew I could gobble another... So, we decided to come here because of the reviews online, and I will say my wife and I both regret it. First off the tacos are a bit smaller than the palm of my hand, so you pay 15 bucks for three of those, which in my imagination would equal the same size of a normal taco. I'm not... More

Took a friend for dinner here while in the area for a conference. The open kitchen was a great way to see the food being prepared. The taco combinations were unusual in a good way and I had a bowl which was a very generous portion and I was unable to finish. The salsa was tasty and I asked for... More
