Great ambiance

This hidden treasure is so unexpected. It has a sort of English feel to it . The menu is wonderful and we have never been disappointed with our selections.

Had a nice lunch with a good menu - both starters and main - fried squash flowers stuffed with herbed goat cheese, frittata and the fitch's burger. A nice Sancere and lovely service. A good lunch.

Had a solo late lunch, sitting outside under cover on a gorgeous La Jolla day. And I got some work emails done thanks to their available guest wi-fi. What a treat. The lunch menu has numerous options and it was difficult to make a choice. Decided to have the Beta sandwich, consisting of a fried egg, bacon, roasted tomato and... More

We came here because I read about it being a hidden gem in La Jolla. All I could think of was boring. We went for Happy Hour and we were the only people there. We thought there would be live music, but that never happened. The drink special was great, but one, get one free. That was the only redeeming... More

We always enjoy the food here. Love the grilled prawns. A local favorite...tucked away so you have to look for it!

If you live in the area you are lucky, if you are visiting the area you have to try this place. It is tucked away off of Girard Ave. My husband and I went for lunch and we concur with the other reviewers that this is a gem in La Jolla. We started with the masa cake blue crab and... More

I have enjoyed a late night dinner, as well as a Happy Hour at Finch’s, and I highly recommend it. If you haven’t been there before, you should go sometime! It’s truly a hidden gem in La Jolla Village. Located on Girard Avenue, just South of Kline Street, you can see the signature black & white striped awning that leads... More

Although just a few blocks off the main drag, it is a little jewel of a restaurant. Great food, very reasonable wine list and prices. Had a group of 14, service was impeccable, food was great.

I visit this restaurant often. They had an excellent singer, were packed and they have 2 new dishes which we had and they were excellent! A calamari appetizer with a mildly spicy sauce, and a light, fluffy, fruity, light dessert whipped like an excellent chocolate mouse is. I wanted it all to myself and will definitely go back for more.... More

Pleasant patio and the music of a very talented jazz guitarist made for a delightful evening. The menu is varied and interesting. We had some dishes that were fine, one that was disappointing. Service was good.
