Good food - nice evening

Had dinner there last night bringing out of town friends. It was the the first time in several years ( I'm a local) that I had been back. Happy to report my reservation for a window table over looking the ocean was honored & our sever could not have been more pleasant or professional. We all had... read more

My "appetiser" arrived looking like an enormous dungheap and didn't taste much better. It was followed by a soggy salad with a few tasteless shrimp tossed on top. Bread was OK and extensive wine list. Staff seemed taken aback that I just couldn't eat the food. Restaurants are more than just a nice view.

We went as a group for dinner to Eddie V's Prime Seafood. As a group, we had choices of menu items which were available for us. I enjoyed the bisque as a starter, then filet done perfectly, unfortunately - no room for desert! The staff & service were excellent! After dinner, we went up to the outside bar to have... More

Eddie V's in La Jolla has excellent food and starks and the view is beautiful. Upstairs open air bar is a terrific way to see sunset and enjoy cocktails. Eddie V's Crab Cake appetizer is the best crab cake we have ever had at a restaurant.

Great happy hour with 50 cent oysters. Good martinis and great service. Love their crab dinners and baked alaska.

We went to celebrate our anniversary during the holiday and as we entered there were a group to greet us with "Happy Anniversary". The table was beautifully laden with rose petals. From the appetizers to the last beautiful dessert, it was exquisite. Our waiter Angela was magnificent and her timing was perfect. When we return, we will make it our... More

The restaurant overlooks the La Jolla cove so you can look out onto the water while dining. We were a large party so they found us a table on the second floor outdoors. Even on a cool night, it was very pleasant with the heaters and fires going full blast. For appetizers, we had a set of raw mussels and... More

We celebrated our anniversary here. I called ahead for a reservation only one hour before our arrival, for dinner mid-week, and we were treated to rose petals on the table, an anniversary card from the staff, and a complimentary banana's foster dessert. What a wonderful surprise! The service was wonderful from beginning to end. I had the best crab cake... More

We had a lovely dinner with all of the Happy Hour appetizers, a craft beer and a great martini. We sat by the fire and watched a bit of a storm roll in . It made for a delightful evening. Our server was charming too.
