Fun evening

Great food and amazing views await at Eddie V's. The music in the upstairs lounge was an added plus. Heaters kept the chill off the evening. Hearing the sea lions and the crashing waves was a dream come true. You will enjoy your time here.

We visited Eddie V's in La Jolla and ordered their Crab Cakes, which have always been our favorite in their original Austin Location. Unfortunately, since being acquired by the Darden Group, the quality has slipped but the prices have not.The crab was not especially fresh and it appears the recipe has been changed. On the plus side, the view on... More

One of the restaurants in La Jolla which has a breathtaking view of the La Jolla beach. Cove. From the cove you can park at the curve that allows a 3 hour parking and have lunch or dinner here by climbing up the steps(more like a secret stairs) which leads directly to this restaurant. One of the better seafood restaurants in... More

We found Eddie V's restaurant on Trip Advisor when trying to decide where to enjoy our 22nd anniversary dinner while visiting San Diego. We narrowed our choice down to Truluck's or Eddie V's. We were overjoyed that we made the right decision. When we arrived we were quickly seated and found rose petals and a "happy anniversary" card placed on... More

We have enjoyed the Eddie V's in Scottsdale, but this was the first trip to the one in La Jolla. Expensive, fresh, flawless service, and delicious fish, prepared creatively and cooked with skill. Will eat here again.

After I had attended a business dinner at Eddie V's in La Jolla, I convinced my husband that we should visit at lunch the following Saturday. It was one of those fabulous moments that we will always remember. We arrived when they opened at 11:00 without a reservation and were seated at what must be the best table in the... More

At the top of La Jolla Village Cove. A wonderful view from every level. On a warm sunny Sunday afternoon we split the Tuna BLT sandwich and the Apple & Beet salad. We tried two of their unusual non alcoholic drinks - a Strawberry Mint Honey Lemonade and the Cucumber Honey Aqua Fresca. We loved Eddie V's in Austin and... More
