I've never eaten in the restaurant, basically because I enjoy the piano bar so much. It's a massive restaurant but the bar is tiny and usually busy, there's a nice terrace to eat at too with a great view of La Jolla Shores and a fire pit. The bar food is excellent, I'm addicted to the lobster tacos. I like... More

we had dinner and the place is just awesome, the views are fantastic and the service and food is great, also the interior design of the restaurant is something to look at it, try lobster tacos and the filet is great

We came to celebrate my wife's birthday on a Saturday night and were very pleased. It's great venue for a special night. Located on the water in downtown La Jolla, the restaurant has great views of the ocean from just about every seat. From the minute we walked in we were impressed with the décor and atmosphere. The service from... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant. It was loud and crowded which would be okay if the food was great, but it was anything but. My halibut and my husband's sea bass were so overcooked, they were inedible. The service was terrible too. The heirloom tomato salad was the only good part of the dinner. We spent $200 and were... We went here for our anniversary and had an amazing dinner and great service. Our waiter had some great recommendations and they were all delicious. We had the best ribeye which they suggested we split and then we added shrimp which was spicy and amazing. They treated us very special for our anniversary. The ocean view was beautiful. There was... Eat here twice in one week. Don't miss it. Tough to get good seat unless you go early or know a local. They have steaks and such, but go for the fish and seafood. Cocktails and wine list are just fine. Great outdoor dining.

Visited for lunch while we were visiting La Jolla. The welcome was warm and friendly, we were seated on the rooftop patio which offers amazing 360-degree views on the cove. The waiters were friendly and courteous. And finally the food was great at a fair price. Overall a positively memorable experience. I highly recommend!

My wife and I were so sad that we only came for wine after having wasted our time at another restaurant for dinner. We came to Eddie V's and sat at the bar for a bottle of wine. We were blown away by the service, so attentive, never intrusive, bartender had a goatee, Monday night, sorry about not getting his... More

Food is fantastic as well as the atmosphere.. Of course everything is well paid eventually. Book before if you intend to go there, is normally quite busy!
