This was our second visit to La Jolla, and we'd been looking forward to going back to Aroma's. We were not disappointed. Their selectrion of homemade pastries is amazing. Their sandwiches and other meals are outstanding. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. This is a great, affordable place to eat in La Jolla. If nothing else, stop by and get... More

Tried to have Breakfast with wife and 2 kids. Although there were tables available, the hostess did not care to seat us down. Made us wait 20 min after telling is the wait would be 10 min. Then she offered to seat js down in their adjourning barfly... Suposed to be the same menu. She made us waste all that... More

Having read good reviews, I decided to find Aroma which is literally the other end of the street from the other breakfast place, the Cottage, but no waiting here, sat outside in the sun watching the world go by, the most varied breakfast menu you can wish for! I opted for a healthy choice and wanted to try something different,... More

We visited this place for brunch after loving the bar the night before. The staff at brunch stood around talking while we waited a very long time to even get a drink. We were told food would take a while but we could get a drink while waiting. After 15 minutes of waiting for a mimosa after ordering one, we... More

This is still unknown in town but once folks catch on there'll be a line to get in. A large platter for breakfast, with homefries, fresh fruit and toast for under $10.,great price and good food. They don't skimp.

This a great place in a great location. We had coffee, treats, and take out dinner from this place and everything was delicious. Though we didn't have any, this place also sold wine and tap beer. I would recommend their coffees and the desserts!

Prime location, indoors and outside seating. Consistently good service and bakery items. Tried their coffees several times and was consistently disappointed - they - don't seem to get the idea that cappuccino is espresso with milk added, not a vat of hot milk with a smell of coffee.

A great place in a great location. Within walking distance from our hotel. Indoor, outdoor seating, great service. Food is fresh and beautifully presented. Haven't tried their lunch yet, but their lattes are excellent! Relaxing atmosphere.
