Just had to wait 10min at the front while the hostess ran off, when someone finally came, we told her we had a reservation and she told us our reservation doesn't mean anything and we still have to wait for a 1/2 hr. So why do you allow people to make reservations? And by the way, she didn't even apologize,... More

I've been to this restaurant twice now. Once on Christmas eve for dinner and just recently on a Monday because another Thai restaurant was closed. I have to say that everything I've had has been great. The Tom Kah Ga soup, a new experience for me, is wonderful. I even like theirs better than another new Thai restaurant I've visited... More

Food was great, even though I had to wait awhile for delivery. Their vegetables were fresh and we were both impressed with the drunken noodles. I can't wait to try more of there entrees,I'm sure all delicious.

You walk into a well decorated restaurant…elegant and not overstated so you feel relaxed no matter how you are dressed. We were greeted by our server quickly and they seemed delighted to take care of you. We ordered the chicken & beef satay, the pagoda salad and the pad see ew with beef. All tasted like very fresh ingredients were... More

Quite a reasonable walk from downtown/prospect and the main restaurant area, but well worth the walk, in an unassuming block Chedi is a great find! Very welcoming staff, excellent food, super large portions (perhaps too large?), and REALLY good value, but for the location, portion sizes and the slightly rushed service, this place would get a 5 star rating from... I dined at Chedi the other day for the first time and the food and service was wonderful. I had the crispy calamari and the steak with the red curry sauce. Both were delicious. Plus the price was quite reasonable. In addition, the service was great and friendly. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

This is the best Thai restaurant in San Diego, in my opinion. Even the drinks are special. Pia is a wonderful owner and chef and she always makes sure everyone is happy. We'll keep coming back. Thank you to all at Chedi Thai!
